Really? You just don't get it.Also, when did Chandler Jones and Nate Solder suddenly become "better him than Revis" players?

So far we are cutting Mayo, Sheard (before he even plays a down, he's gone next year) Amendola, Chandler Jones and Solder without any replacements so we can keep Revis. Wow, I'm convinced the cap is only pretend. So are the Pats going to field a team of Brady, Gronk, Revis, and a bunch of veteran minimum scrubs. No, none of the impending free agents next year are as good as Revis is individually, but when you have to say good bye to a bunch of them for one player they start to be far more costly as a group.
Yes its my reading comprehension thats a problem not your grand sweeping statements in the middle of march before we have even drafted. "Pretty much assured" way to cover your ass. Im sorry i didnt realize that what you meant is if we keep all those players we were pretty much assured baring injury that we would make it back to the sb. So i guess with the pretty much and the injury part your statement means absolutely nothing. My bad. As far as peyton goes we will see next year how injured he was or whether age caused him to hit a wall. Im guessing that if peyton doesnt age in reverse and barring injury that denver is pretty much assured not to make the sb next year. Youre right saying nothing feels good.I'm sorry that your reading comprehension sucks. Perhaps, if you hadn't deliberately ignored where I wrote "pretty much have assured" in your response, you may have gotten a better grasp of my post.
Also, seriously.... using Denver, when the Broncos' biggest problem was an injured Manning?
Under NO circumstance should BB consider Bradley Fletcher. He was terrible last year For Eagles n was reviled by everyone
He was also singled up a lot on the other team's #1. It could be a case of him being a viable rotational guy who was asked to do too much.
Can we keep this thread topical to 'Patriots Rumors?'
I have to say the one major positive about the Pats not re-signing Revis is we don't have to put Deus on suicide watch. I have to say I was getting scared that he might off himself this season without a way to complain about Belichick the GM. I mean he can no longer argue getting rid of Welker and Mankins was a colossal blunder.
I wonder if Belichick let both Revis and Browner to walk just to give Deus a solid.
No! Fletcher just plain stinks. He was also singled up a lot on the other team's #1. It could be a case of him being a viable rotational guy who was asked to do too much.

How about we discuss Danny amendola
Well, when you're talking about cap space, and those are the guys being used as examples of players who might be lost, it's kind of important, IMO.
As for the Patriots, perhaps more than anything, the sense from here is that their salary-cap situation -- with an eye toward the future and some potential big deals on the horizon for the likes of left tackle Nate Solder, defensive end Chandler Jones, and linebackers Dont'a Hightower and Jamie Collins -- has them in a mode where they are not as flexible to win a free-agent bidding competition with another team. Part of this was a result of using some of 2015's cap to build the best team in 2014 (e.g., a $5 million charge for Revis), and that strategy obviously paid off.

Hahahhahahahahaha. How he is even classified as a pats fan is beyond me. Just one bitter old fella that actually "needs to be drug tested"

To be fair Welker is an undersized WR whose hits were really starting to pile up and most people thought we would see a decline in the next 2 years for sure.
Mankins was over paid an no longer the all pro he was being paid like. Still pretty good when not injured (which was often) but the contract did not match.
Revis has had only 1 major injury and besides that has been very durable. He is not at all likely to decline any time soon. He will probably continue to be the best at his position for 2-3 years and one of the best for a few years after that.
One of these moves were clearly unlike the others.
