What attachment does he even have to the Jets? Rex is gone, all his teammates are gone, and the team sucks now. It's not exactly the prodigal son returning.

$$ and that's pretty much it

Its frustrating. You would think a superbowl would make it easier. Its always about the mighty dollar.

I don't see Revis going back to the Jets for a few more dollars.

He wants a great deal in his favor, but after climbing the highest peak in football, I can't see the man wanting to spend the final prime of his career in mediocrity.

I'd be very surprised to see him go back to the the Jets.

I would not be too surprised if he hits FA and a third party comes along and gets him. There has to be other teams interested.

Well you're the one whose making definitive statements about how there won't be a deal.

Am I? All I said was 4pm will hit and there will be no deal yet.

Are there other solid corners out there? Cromartie?

If there were they would have leaked by now....his choice is jets and pats...just like it was last year

I would be shocked if Revis opted for the weakest team in a division in which he was part of a defending champion. It's got to be Pats or another contender. IMHO I don't see his signing with the Jets improving their overall situation.

Board is full of jilted lovers...

Whatever Revis does, it's kind of HIS choice. Thanks for the trophy, and good luck - hope it's here!

If he is about the $$...he will go to Jets...he contacted THEM first last offseason. Why is this so hard to believe? They have $$ and if he care about $$ more then winning..he will go there

If he has changed...it will be here he calls home. Simple

Alot of anxious moments tomorrow. I wonder what advice deion would give him

Jets lost out on Williams. He's going to Seattle...the need a CB bad and market is very dry.

I don't hold any grudge against Revis if he chooses a mega-deal with the Jets. If he does move to New York, he has to realize his opportunity to win multiple rings is over. That's what it comes down to. The chance to compete for titles or one final pay day.

He can re-sign with the Patriots and become a legend in Boston, or he can go back to the Jets and become the guy that needed to spend a year with the arch rival in order to get his ring...

He really doesn't care how he's viewed by fans. He is just doing what he wants as he should...he wants $$ sure leave. But again if he wants to he a legend...he will stay. It shouldn't be hard...but when McCourt said today that he was still unsure...not sure he wants to be a legend but that's hard to believe also...

NY gives Revis the chance to resurrect the "Revis Island" meme and take advantage of all the opportunities via revenue streams that the NY metro area has to offer. He may be intent on maxxing his marketability with this final big score. Whatever he does, it's HIS business. It'd be great to have him back here but, if he's not, it's on to the next series of options via draft and FA.

Revis could go to the Jets for whatever amount of $. All while Sherman is likely tearing **** up in Seattle, in the hunt for a 2nd ring, and laughing at Revis as a Jet winning 2-5 games per season.

Or - Revis can stay a Patriot, be #1 highest paid CB in the NFL ($14.5m would make him highest paid per year, I believe) and he could have an even better shot at a 2nd ring. And possibly put in the discussion for best CB of all time.

Deion needs to give him some advice. I know he'd tell him to stay in NE.
