I dunno, I don't think it's unreasonable for him to either a) stay the hell out of Nebraska, or at a minimum b) stay 100% sober at all times while he's there. There's too much at stake, and if he wants to go and have a good time he can do it in any of the 200 cities in the USA that have more going for them than Lincoln ******* Nebraska.
I'm looking at it in a worst case scenario. If he's going to be continuing to hang out there, and by the looks of things, he's going to--then the least he can do is choose to come home early and not be seen drinking in public.
He has a pretty serious girlfriend there from all accounts. I don't know her personal business, or why she can't just move closer, but that is reportedly the reason that he frequents Lincoln so often.
One would have to be pretty dumb to somehow get caught with a no-alcohol clause, mainly because it moves through the system so quickly.
Basically, the only reasonable way that he'd get caught is if:
--he chose to drink in public, risking having someone see him
--he was at a party or gathering with the wrong people, most likely late at night
--he had a
serious alcohol problem and was drinking early in the morning or mid-day, etc
--he somehow drank until the wee hours of like 4-5 AM, then had a surprise visit the next morning, most likely prior to NOON
Otherwise, he can certainly get away with staying low-key in the privacy of his own home or with his girlfriend to casually drink. The SWAT team isn't going to swoop in after the working hours of probation to test him. Most likely he meets up with his probation officer a couple of times per month and gives a test.
