So Michael Sam Is Gay, Who Cares? Can He Rush The QB?

So condon84 is accepting of gays, probably treats gays with kindness and respect just as nicely as anyone else he meets, and he's a bigot, intolerant and whatever else you guys want to call him?

bigot doesn't think he's a bigot in late breaking shocker

That's funny.

what else is he going to say exactly if he knew he was a bigot he probably wouldn't be one...google quotes from any notorious bigot you can think of

here...

I don’t want to see this country resemble or look like or become like Mexico. Mexico is great to visit, I’ve been there a few times. I respect all peoples of the world.

I have spoken all over the world and I have great respect for Muslims, I have great respect for the African people, I have respect for the other races. Even back home in Lousiana, I'm called a racist, but I have respect for the Black people of my country and I want them to have their own life, too, and I want them to be able to pursue their own destiny and not be controlled, and not be damaged.

David Duke

I'm calling it now:

Oakland drafts him in the 5th

In case no one noticed, the team with the lowest attendance is just a bridge away from San Francisco, where, rumor has it, there's a high percentage of homosexuals.

Now, if the gay rights organizers are wise, they'll make sure they do their part to help fill the Oakland Collesium and turn it into a Sunday football party the likes of which haven't been seen in the Collesium since Caligula's time - with the Gay community thus flexing their consumer dollar muscle to bring Oakland from worst to first in attendance

Of course, it might not break down exactly like this. They might get him in the 6th

When are you going to answer Andy's questions? We're still waiting.

I honestly hope the Patriots draft him even as a reach because it is the sort of thing that will be remembered and I'd like for our team to be the one remembered.

I don't think you disagree, but I'd prefer if they'd draft him or anyone simply based upon their football talents. Drafting on a social or politically correct principle strikes me as insulting.

And while Belichick certainly appreciated the value an undersized defensive player like Bruschi brought to the team, Bruschi was already here when Belichick got here, and I just don't see Belichick drafting an undersized guy (give him a chance as an UFA? Sure - but use a draft pick? I'm not so sure)

No see, here's another dumbass false equivalency that people like you make. You don't get to be a bigot and then accuse anyone who recognizes your bigotry of being intolerant in the same way as someone who hates the immutable characteristics of another is. A five year old can see through that logic.

I am intolerant of intolerance. I am also moderately intolerant of people who make intellectually dishonest claims about things they know nothing about and then whine about "the PC police" when they get hammered for it. Your stupid views are your stupid views, it's not "intolerant" to call you out for being a complete mouthbreather. You've chosen to be an inward, thoughtless, crappy person and now you are equating that to being gay by inferring that your bigoted opinions should be afforded the same protections and "tolerance." Get a brain MORAN.

You don't know much more about whether same sex intercourse is natural or unnatural anymore than me. There isn't a study to tell us otherwise. There is no actual fact. So calling someone else a bigot who doesn't share the same opinion as you makes you out to be as much an imbecile.

And you morans can't even comprehend that someone might think same sex intercourse is unnatural but he also doesn't think being gay is wrong.

A lot of modern medicine is unnatural, but its not wrong. Wrap your head around that concept.

Those who practice homeopathy would disagree with that last statement you made. Again that's perception.

You're arguing that homosexuality and medicine are both unnatural, but only one is "wrong"? That's a subjective judgment.

You see what is "natural" and "unnatural" as being objective, i.e., something that people (or posters) can agree on and that's why you continually get frustrated, because that is impossible. Just as impossible as agreeing on what "quality" or "beauty" is. All of those words are arbitrary interpretations and are based on perceptions.

What you find beautiful is what another person finds ugly. Neither of you is right or wrong.

So while you may see homosexuality as being unnatural, they do not, and neither you or the so-called Christians have any grounds on which to argue that they are wrong in their perception of it.

For you to think like that, makes you a true bigot, because you believe your perception is the superior one.

BTW, "moran" is spelled moron.

Bigots never think they are bigots, they believe their positions are perfectly rationale and just.

Black men kissing/touching white women in public was also considered unnatural. We all know how that turned out.

I accept gays for who they are even with my stance.

Meanwhile people like you can't accept the fact that others might see things a little differently.

No tolerance for people with a different opinion. You are no better than the morons who can't accept gays.

When "seeing things a little differently" amounts to propagating an ignorant bigotry that hurts and divides people, then no, it should not be accepted. At one time black people were shunned from professional sports, which is unthinkable today. One day opinions like yours will be unthinkable. History will not look upon you kindly.

There are also a large number of blacks that resent the homosexual causes being compared to the struggles that they (blacks) endured.

However, the "so called bigot" needs to exhibit bigoted behavior and speak bigoted thoughts. Which I haven't seen on this thread. I've seen a few "so called bigots" on this thread, say that they get along well with gays in real life. So it seems to me that you need to go find some "real bigots" go after. But it's real easy to throw accusations out at people.

Would you like to provide any proof to back that up?
Are you seriously trying to tell us that gays are treated equally while having a position that they should hide the fact they are gay?

Oh I forgot, it's cool to be gay now right?

Saying you disagree with everything they stand for, that their life is a sin and that they should not publicly "act gay" and having pleasant conversations with them despite your disgust is not getting along well with them. It's bigotry. Bigotry does not require you to not associate with them or call them ****** everyday.

Both groups have and continue to face horrible discrimination. Rather than focusing on who has or had it worse, maybe we should focus on correcting it? I also don't think you should speak for African-Americans if you are not yourself one - a white person telling people what black people think has... unfortunate implications, to say the least.

But to play that game, the resentment has nothing to do with attitudes towards homosexuality. Rather, it's a resentment at the ease by which the LGBT movement has gathered steam and been able to change the narrative in an incredibly short amount of time.

A lot of this is money. The LGBT movement has many affluent backers, while the civil rights movement is, at its heart, a poor peoples' movement. Another part of it is that what has become the rallying call for the LGBT movement - gay marriage - isn't fundamentally incompatible with conservative 'family values.'

To be brief, the LGBT movement - with its money and control of the narrative - has taken up a lot of space as a progressive cause that could be occupied by broader civil rights messages, and that's where the resentment comes from. It's got nothing to do with what you're trying to argue.

Are you judging someone based on their use of modern medicine, I don't understand this analogy at all

I'm not sure who the author was of that bottom quote, but it wasn't mine.

I don't speak for blacks, I'm white. I skimmed a few articles where some black pastors were pretty turned off by the comparison of gay rights and black rights being similar.
