Our stud DE's showing up big. I'm telling you all that Chandler Jones is going to be THE premiere DE in the league. JPP, to whom he was compared to no end, cannot defend the run like Jones can. Jones clearly learned new hand moves from boxing this off season and he's establishing even a bigger repertoire of them than JPP. We're good to go.
Also, I said holding the Broncos to three would be huge. Mark my words, this will impact the game.
It's still early guys. I'm not panicking until i see the score at the half and even then you NEVER EVER doubt Brady that is rule number 1 of being a Patriot fan.
After a week of people worrying about the defense not being able to hold up to the Broncos offense, they came to play. The offense implodes to make the effort look like a lost cause thus far.
Although I believe the Pats will put points on the board on this next drive, even a sustained drive with no points somewhat helps them in terms of field position. Manning has had a short field on all but one of his possessions so far. We need to change that at the very least.
