Josh Freeman benched for Glennon

This has been inevitably coming since the preseason, at least. It's pretty clear that this is the move that Schiano wanted to make, and he's been publicly undermining Freeman ever since. Cynically, I think he figures this might buy him another year, since he now has the rookie QB excuse, and can point to that when asked how they're going to improve going forward.

If nothing else, Glennon should have no trouble seeing past the line. Dude's got full-on giraffe neck.

I was at a bar that Freeman was at in Orlando during the offseason between 2010 and 2011 and he was putting away shots like nothing I've ever seen before. Patron shots, at that.

Seriously, I like tequila, but never saw the draw, especially at that price. It's like those stupid tourist sombreros, designed to separate the morons from their money.

I remember thinking how skinny and young he appeared to be during our week 3 preseason game. He really does look like a HS or college player at best.

He didn't look as lost as I'd have thought though, so this move may end up working out for the better. If anything, he may cut down on some of those stupid mistakes that Freeman tends to make, while learning on the fly. At some point in the next year or so he may end up looking alright.
