Oh okay I mis-read you Afam, went back and saw you were trying to make that point.

This is such a clown thread I have auto-clowned.

(To be fair, that Brady pic you posted looks like a sort of "well it was ugly but it worked" pic, not one that looked like a textbook perfect QB motion pic.)

To the main point, I am not at all sure that anybody's waiting for Tebow's throwing to work... I just think it's a possible explanation of the pickup, and, if he stays on the roster, will be the most likely explanation (not some gimmick-only role, where he can't pass.) There could be a middle ground, where he can pass well enough that it makes sense to use him in option roles... but all in all, the most likely outcome is that on 8/31 he's gone.

I'll hurt my brain about why he's not, if that actually happens. I think his benching in g.3 of the preseason is the writing on the wall.

(But ZOMG what if it's not?)

I don't know whether to ignore you or to try that make you comprehend what I was trying to say. Next time you throw insults at some, make sure you are directing it to the right person. I was saying that tebow mechanics needs to get better and not Brady's.

Yeah hence the follow-up post. You hate the right guy, I apologize. Although I don't hate Tebow officially. Yet.

Tebow has turned in the most ridiculous, egregiously bad qb performance of all time. He's had years to "learn how to throw the ball". He can't do it and now some posters have the preposterous opinion that he can not only do that but learn "other positions" as well.

He should be tarred and feathered and ridden out of town with his merry band of deluded cult members behind him.

When Bb finally cuts him his first words at the press conference should be "our long national nightmare is over.". And with that tebow will be gone forever from football, living only in our memories as the most ridiculous 'qb' of all time. We'll tell stories to our grandkids about the absurdity of tebow and his followers as we'll finally be able to laugh about it.

Everyone has to read this with the "Mr. Burns" voice ( from the Simpsons) in their heads , it makes it super epic .

Lol. I agree. Tebow should be hidden out of sight to work on his mechanics. I bet I have a better throwing motion than him and that's a shame. I'm curious who thought him how to throw a football btw ?

I don't hate him. I do think he is overrated, but I have no ill will against him. I just happen to think if he is not successful here, he should retire because he is working with the best coach in football. If bill can't fix him, all hope is lost. Z

I do hope he makes it though because it would help our team alot and one more thing to stick it to the jets.

Urban Meyer

Okay, to be fair, whoever Florida's QBs coach was in 2006-2010. But what, we think Meyer put all his work into his receivers???

Ha ha. I watched the gators win the championship a few years back and I was rooting for them and tebow still had the same awful throwing motion.

Everyone should relax. anyways Iron, if tebow gets cut, would you stick around ?

Look at my join date... . I was here two years before Tebow signed. My focus then was primarily fantasy football related. I'll still be around and with no ill will. patriots are a class act

I'm guessing yes. I hope everyone sticks around. I have never rooted for a player over a team. For example if Brady gets traded tomorrow, I still be. Patriots fan.

LOL

But I think his benching in game 3 was less about Tebow and more about getting Mallett some badly needed game work. They need to find out once and for all what they have or don't have in Mallett.

Have I seen you somewhere before? Do you post at HF boards?

Bull**** and only you Tebowites believe this. If the guy needs to learn how to throw, he needs to get off this team and pay someone to teach him.

Unlike you Tebowites, it's us who have been paying the tickets for this team for years. I and others are completely against paying a guy who can't help this team because he's got to learn how to play.

Ultimately, this is BB's decision but you guys can stick it up your ass coming to this board and trying to tell us what it is.

I paid over 100k to learn my profession. Why should this clown get paid millions (including Denver) to learn? You guys are the worst kind of douchebags there are. It isn't even Tebow. It's Tebowites who come here and try and tell us how great this bust is and how we should pay him to learn how to do something he should have learned years ago.

For all the others that thought this was a great post.....figures.

That's Statement 2.

My whole point. We just talk past each other. Making assumptions about what the other guy is saying, so we can get to what we really think (in your case, Statement 2).

Just read where Terrell Pryor may end up starting for the Raiders over Flynn (he'll start the final preseason game, and the job is still open).

Trend continuing towards running quarterbacks, and therefore offenses geared towards them.

I think that "different" factor Tebow brings to the table will be the final consideration for BB on whether to cut him.

B*******. Tebow is horrible at throwing the ball and all those other running quarterbacks can throw the ball, that's the difference. BB will cut him and say "I'm a moron for ever bringing him in. To all you critics out there, just this once, I listened."

Yeah. What's your Hf handle ?

Oh cool. I thought I recognized you. I don't post there I just lurk. It's a great board. Much like this one.
