Mort Reports Von Miller is going to be suspended for at least 6 games

I almost forgot - Brandon Stokley's loss accounts for another 500 + yards and five scores.

So between McGahee, Moreno and Stokley, that is over 2,000 total yards and 13 scores to be replaced by Welker, Ball and Hillman.

Not going to be easy.....

Heisman winners/contenders -- Ron Dayne, Anthony Davis, Brian Calhoun, Michael Bennett, P.J. Hill, and John Clay…how did they fare in the NFL?

The Wisconsin RBs have been high rushing output players in college…and flameouts, or "never were" in the pros. Is Montee Ball the next in that line?

That is a fair question Clare.....Personally, I think that Montee Ball is going to be in the mix for 150-200 touches but will not be the be all end all running back solution for the Broncos.

With that said - I think he has a better opportunity than all of those listed running backs at succeeding and at the very worst will have a career like Michael Bennett considering that their skill level is fairly similar.

Hehehehehe.

Bennett was a good NFL running back until foot injuries basically ended his career. Foot injuries will mess anyone up, but especially a guy whose greatest weapon was 4.1 speed.

Comment from a Denver sports reporter:

John Elway told us that the #Broncos first learned of potential Von Miller suspension in May. So, yes, well after Dumervil was gone.

Also, Albert Breer is saying that the "NFL looked at 16-, 8-game suspensions. The 7/15 appeal was postponed to allow for talks, then resolution happened."

Albert Breer is in full tweet mode making excuses for Miller. While it pains me to agree with this tool that Miller's past is no big deal, you just KNOW that were the player a Patriot, Breer would be all over the guy and blaming the BB and the org for having signed him, q.v. his hopeful (but erroneous) tweets the other day wondering (hoping) if other Patriots were involved in the latest murder gun discovery.

Shawne Merriman, part III. As soon as the HGH. amphetamines, and 'Roids wear off he will go the way of most of these morons.

I think his drug of choice was the ganja.

Never count out a team with Manning at the helm. He worked with much worse in Indy his last couple of years there, and pulled some wins out of his butt.

We play them week 12, so we will get a better rested Von Miller. I wish we played them week 1 or 2. Ravens/Broncos is gearing up to be a snoozefest
