ya...but other than that the D was good and O was good. D have what 2 coverage sacks? Awesome to see and the only issue with the O was not passing it around but he was passing it to the open guy so i guess it wasn't a bad thing

I liked that Talib got TRUCKED, but he wrapped up teh legs and still made the tackle.

Thats a toughness from a DB we have missed a bit.

1st team offense and defense were both fantastic. Just can't say enough.

2nd team started slow and got stronger on offense, struggled a little on defense.

3rd team struggled on both sides of the ball, Tebow and Green stood out as the poorest performers for each squad.

Hope Ryan's pick six is a sign of things to come.

Are Thompkins and Dobson the same type of receiver? I've read that Dobson is more the deep threat, typical X receiver. While Thompkins is the possession, Y-type receiver.

Yeah Dobson has the size and speed for the deep ball...but Thompkins is more versatile. But if the pats really do go to more of a 3 WR set. Amendola, Dobson and Thompkins will all be out there...2 WR sets Amendola and i think Thompkins (could be Dobson though) and then 1 WR is Amendola.

Now when gronk comes back things might change especially if Suds turns out to be a diamond in the rough..then back to two TE sets and not just 1 TE

He was out of position multiple times and showed a general lack of awareness tonight. Harmon unfortunately wasn't much better.

He has really regressed, but he is a second round pick. He will be given this year to prove himself. Next year he will be cut if he doesn't improve significantly.

Actually from everything I've been reading from Reiss, when they go 3-wide, it's Amendola, Thompkins, and Boyce most of the time, although Dobson has certainly been in that mix as well. Boyce has serious speed and can play all the positions, which i think they like more of in the 3-wide set.

That being said, it's nice to have some excitement for our young WR corp, and the only preference I have is that they put the best players on the field.

Tavon Wilson looks like he belongs in the CFL as a special teamer. It wouldn't shock me at all to see him get cut before opening day against the Bills. He's been beyond brutal.
