If you had a brain you'd realize the only thing that makes me unhappy is subbing out impact players for the walmart value shopping that we did this year, been consistent with every move we made. Thus I'm going to be unhappy if I don't like that philosophy for this team, in this situation, in this year. Not always bad but it is sometimes.

sorry..my one worry this draft was LACK of picks...in one move that has been rectified...this draft is deep in the 2nd and 3rd rounds by ALL accounts...now the Pats have the picks to move anywhere up or down that they please....show me this surefire WR all pro you had slotted at 29...

This should (emphasis on should) set them up in a position to trade up multiple times in the second round and get top level WR/S, and still have some lower level picks for the problem children type picks.

You really want a guy in our offense who can't run college route trees, let alone NFL? What are we going to do, give a 6'2 WR the ball on a screen pass every down? He belongs in a 3 route tree offense, Brady wouldn't even look his way on our team.

No, I'm saying that if BB doesn't use the new picks to move both round 2 picks up, it was a stupid trade down. The team doesn't need to be picking scrap players this year. It needs high end WR/S picks. A general lack of picks in this draft doesn't mean a damn thing.

Pats gave up their 1st rounder as predicted but they got a ransom. 4 picks for 1 - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Really can't fault BB for accepting that boatload of picks! And the Vikings take talented but immature wideout Corderelle Patterson.

Go look at BBs track record on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks. And the league as a whole. As you get to lower and lower rounds the bust rate is higher and higher obviously. We'll see what they do tomorrow. Color me unimpressed unless they trade up and get a WR and someone like the honey badger.
