Bills have released CB / KR Terrence McGee.

Bills have released CB / KR Terrence McGee.

He's averaging about 7 games played per season in the last three years. Seems very injury prone, and that's depite the fact that he's been lacking talent for awhile.

If it were 2008, 2009, then I'd possibly be interested, but I actually have more hope for Dowling than I would for McGee to come here and contribute.

He would be an interesting option as a one year safety. I'm not sure he'll be priced in the Patriots' range, though.

Signing Gamble/Grimes/Talib to go along with Dennard while drafting either one of Vaccarro or Elam (I prefer Elam, obviously) early and either re-signing Arrington or drafting Mathieu late would give us quite a secondary.

That would set us up with the following:

CB1 Gamble/Grimes/Talib
CB2 Dennard
CB3 Arrington/Mathieu
FS McCourty
SS Elam
CB4 Dowling?

I'd actually still worry about the CB depth of that unit. Need at least one more CB, IMO. Anytime you're one injury away from moving Arrington out of the slot, that's a bad thing.

Jeff Fisher has confirmed this:

Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirmed today that the Rams have waived Young, ten days after they picked him up off waivers from Detroit. Fisher declined to get into specifics, but he said that after spending a few days with Young at the team facilities, the Rams’ coaching staff decided he wasn’t a good fit.

“We felt Titus is better suited for another organization,” Fisher said.

Woodson's release is now apparently official:

After Charles Woodson’s agent announced that Woodson would be leaving the Packers, it was just a matter of time until the Packers made it official.

They did just that on Friday afternoon. The team issued a release announcing Woodson’s release on Friday afternoon.

Not sure he fits the Patriots vision/style, but looks like Freeney will be available.

Edit: I know not technically a cut, but there was some thought Colts would keep him.
