wait...i thought the jets could do no wrong? Their fans say at least they don't cheat like the pats but have employees trip members of the other team? :D

The jets cannot do no MORE wrong then they have already done to their fans and franchise.

2013, the season of the Jets suckage will be epic.

Looking at their schedule..they will be lucky to win 7 this year

but no doubt they will achieve the off-season super bowl and have bold predictions on how they will go ALL THE WAY!!

Cannot wait....

NO wait,, I got something else!

Einstein apparently was unaware of New Jersey Green Beans suckage when he made that statement.

The Green Beans introduced new GM Idzik today. He seems like a nice, capable fellow but he admitted he'd only been at team offices a few hours. I wonder how long before his head explodes.

I'd like to see his facial expression when handed the paperwork listing the Jets contract commitments for 2013.

scott, pace and harris will all be gone...revis as well

Yup, that was a pretty tepid endorsement.

You're a Jet. But you will be competing for playing time.

The Jets have no choice but to keep him. That contract makes him untradeable and uncuttable.

Too bad for them that he's an UnQB, too.

Apparently, the Jets feel you can't have too many top 5 pick bust QBs. Looks like they are kicking the tires of JaMarcus Russell.

More recently, after Tannenbaum was let go, members of the organization had some very exploratory, informal discussions regarding former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell, the 2007 No. 1 overall pick who flamed out of the NFL after the 2009 season. Russell recently decided to mount a comeback in hopes of returning to the league next season.

With a few names in fold, Jets plan to keep pushing Mark Sanchez for starting QB | NJ.com

Keep this in mind when you see the Jets linked with any FA who is going to count for more than $2MM against the cap. It isn't gonna happen.

The Jets are STILL saddled with those 7 untradeable, uncutable contracts (Harris, Cromartie, Revis, Sanchez, Fergeson, Mangold, and Holmes) who will count $80MM against the cap. That means the rest of the 46 remaining players on their final 53 are going to be splitting up the remaining $41MM, or an average of just under $900,000/man. I won't matter who they cut (and they have a number of "cap cuts" that they can make), they STILL have that $80MM nut that stares them in the face.

This was the situation facing the Pats in 2000, only WORSE. Even the most ardent rational Jet fans are coming to grips with this reality. 2013 will be a lost year for Jet fans. Hopefully (for them) their new GM is a smart man and can accept that reality and start getting his team ready for 2014 right now. Rex is there to take the heat for whatever happens this season. Then after a couple of years drafting in the top 10 and some cap room, maybe he can start to bring his team back from the brink in 2014.

The Bad news for Pats fans will be it will be harder to pick on them when they are so down. All they will be able to talk about on JI will be Pats threads and "spygate" -

Why do I have to keep reminding people here that both those guys are dead?

How so? Whatever they do on the field of play has relatively little to do with the perpetual phenomenon of New Jersey Green Beans suckage.
