New from The Cheesecake Factory, the incredible Sancheese "Butt Fumble" cake!

Oh that just is incredibly distasteful and disgusting.....

It's perfectly Jest!

(Just one thing....where are the green beans?)

A bit of light relief to break the seriousness of yet another big game involving the Pats.....

The Jets have found a GM!

It looks like they've settled on Seattle VP of Football Administration, John Idzik (nah, me neither).

Also, they've seemingly found a new OC too......Marty Mornhinweg.

Both were number 536 on their wish lists...

I just saw this ad on Craig's List:

General Manager Wanted

Have you ever won your fantasy football league? Did you know that Vernon Gholston, Vlad Ducasse, and Mark Sanchez were busts when the Jets drafted them? Did you throw up in your mouth when the Jets traded for Tim Tebow? If you answered yes, you are qualified to the General Manager of the New York Jets.

Requirements:

  • Able to overpay your players no matter how overrated and unproductive they are. Prefer someone who is able to structure contracts that overpaid, grossly underproductive players are uncutable and untradeable
  • Able to ignore trivial things like scouting reports, game film, and advice of college coaches and draft players based solely on their combine results or who is trending up on Mel Kiper's Big Board
  • Able to pick players in the draft at least as good as but not better than a monkey throwing darts at a bunch of prospects names on a dart board
  • Have affinity for players who will create media circuses
  • Able to take verbal and written abuse by the media and fans on a daily basis
  • Nice feet are a must
  • Make sure that the facility's kitchen is always stocked with Goddamn snacks
  • Able to convince the nerdy owner that he is not only cool, but is a valuable asset in evaluating players
  • Ring Master experience at a major circus preferred, but not required.

If interested, contact Woody at 212-555-5555.

sorta been neglecting the big mouth chest thumping tough guys who loved the media 4 years ago...NOW they hate the entire media and are spinning up thousand word posts on why this guy,Itzik or Zitzqik or Zapchuk or whatever his name is, is the greatest hire in league history...did you know he graduated from Dartmouth??? DARTMOUTH!!!! OG OG OG!!!...2 weeks ago not ONE of these green morons had the tiniest clue who this guy is...not one...everyone who slums that Jets Insewerside knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Now, Lipshytz is the newest "best GM in the NFL!!! OG OG OG!!!"...hilarious...you could feed these morons raw steaming sewerage with a sprig of parsley and they'd swear it was Beef Wellington...I'm just overwhelmed at the collective demonstration of insanity coming from these green leotards.

The crowning garnish of course is the hiring of Marty Mornhinweg as O coordinator...first off, just go and watch these absolute morons write volumes of gushing praise/psalms about this hump whose name they cannot even SPELL!

I like that hire. Although Idzik was not my #1 choice I am fine with him and I am fine with Mohrninweg

that..from a thread titled with the guy's name...idiocy.."I like him!"..of course you do,Drunkfish...you liked Fistpump too.

then the most shameless, arrogant, egotistical, moronic, nose in the air, fake B.S. artist, XG1, vomits this little beauty...I mean he scraped Marty's colon with a sand paper tongue to come up with THIS ludicrous rationalization..

Very important note from his wiki:

Coach Andy Reid gave Mornhinweg the play calling responsibilities after the Eagles' disastrous loss to the Indianapolis Colts, 45-21. The Eagles won all six games, employing a more balanced run/pass attack. The wins included an unprecedented three consecutive December divisional road games, all with a back-up quarterback, Jeff Garcia. It was the only time Reid yielded play calling responsibilities, a role Mornhinweg continued through the 2007 season.

So he can make Jeff Garcia look good too.

He can??...how about Michael Vick...like, you know...this past season??? I know a lot of you out there read this idiot's posts all the time...this clown has to be walking around with his hand on an ice pick stuck in his forehead screaming at everyone he passes "I'm SMARTER than Albert Einstein! Wikipedia says so!!!"

Jet fan....the regifter that keeps on regifting....

Congratulations, Jets.

You just hired a guy who onced deferred in OT.

He'll fit in nicely.

And you can bet he will have complete autonomy. Wrecks knows nothing about offense and isn't interested, while everyone else will be afraid of guilt by association.

And the freak show continues for another season. Bet "the tatoo" is gone by the end of next season.

Don't know much about the jests GM but Marty Morthenwig was hardly a good OC with the eagles. Most of them despise the guy.

"I like both of these hires, I think the Jets future is looking pretty bright now with Idzik & Mornhinweg onboard.

A competent young bright mind at GM coming over from an organization where he was very successful, a REAL offensive mind In Mornhinweg as OC, Rex as HC with him and Thurman running the D and Ben Kotwica revitalizing special teams.

This could very well be the BEST front office and coaching staff the Jets have had in decades. "

Ahh yes...the hype for preseason SB has begun.

He was endorced by Captian Kangaroo, so we already know how this is going to turn out. Who knows, maybe Mr. Green Jeans can throw.

ohn Idzik has to be the only NFL general manager to receive a letter of recommendation from Captain Kangaroo.

“Captain Kangaroo was a Jet fan,” Idzik’s mother Joyce told The Post.

I saw that and laughed my arse off yesterday. The funny thing is before this week, not one Jets fan knew who John Idzik was. Now Jets fans talk about him as if he is some kind of superstar personnel evaluator. Fact is, although he has had more personnel experience than Tannebaum, he is still a cap guy not a personnel man. He could turn into a great GM, but how do Jets fans even know. He was like the Jets' 12th choice.

As for Mornhinweg, the guy still runs the antiquated west coast offense and was just running Andy Reid's offense.

Morninhweg did a good job in Philadelphia until Reid turned on the QB carousel and screwed up what was a solid offense. He's a QB evaluator/coach at his core, so maybe they'll figure out how to use Sanchez.

Speculation in NYC is Mike Vick follows along. I have no idea how they pay him or how that offensive line keeps him alive. That would add another act to the circus. If Vick has a say in it, he should tell his agent, no way.

So in other words:

* A QB who can actually play QB
* An offensive line that can actually protect a QB
* Skill players that can actually make plays

And the JEST get to pick, at most, two?

Oh boy, Idzik already sounds like a circus as well.

I'll withhold judgment until Bunny Rabbit and Dancing Bear weigh in on the topic.

Mr. Moose was opposed to it, that's all I know. Plus, I'm sure that if Capt. Kangaroo knew Idzik would eventually work for a team of swindlers, fetishists, morally corrupt blowhards and entitled ******s, he never would have sent that letter.

He'll be all set with Mr. Green Beans by his side.

"I took it seriously the day I went out with that C on my chest," Kangaroo said. "That meant a lot to me. I wanted to live up to it."

In what some in the media are calling a quarterback controversy in the making, Rogers was, in a word, sulky.

"He pulls on his cardigan one arm at a time like everybody else," Rogers said.
