and then devised an underhanded tactic known as the "poison pill" to steal one of that team's best players by making his current team essentially unable to match the offer.

Oh come on. If Kraft or BB came up with that idea first you and 99.44% of the board would be crowing about what a genius move it was.

You assume wrong. I wouldn't be crowing and BB and Kraft went the extra mile and gave the Dolphins an extra pick to avoid doing the deal with Welker, poison pill style.

back on topic after the attempted hijacking by the green troll trying the moronic "bash Kraft and BB" misdirection ploy....the Excessive Self Promotion Network has been polling fans opinions about the world renowned and loved NY Rats Football Club...."what do you think of this season's "Ground and Pound" offense...

Gary Gagootz of Weehauken, NJ has the best reply so far...

.."I thought we wuz gettin' ground and pound but all we's got was grunt and punt..."..

more disturbing news later on this ,the Fistpump & Dump network...

Nice, if a bit optimistic. It's become grumble & fumble.

Gotta love Rah! Rah! long rambling post about how the Jets should bring back Tanny, Rex, and Sanchez because they are close to righting the ship and bringing a Super Bowl to the Jets' organization.

Jets Insider.com Forums - View Single Post - Rex isn't going anywhere, Tanny could get help, regime gets 1 one year...

Boy and I thought my posts can get long winded. This is the War and Peace of message board posts without the interesting prose based in reality.
LOL....seriously laughed out loud. The jests are on the Cusp of going all the way LOL

And then theres rah rahs questioning of someone elses Mental Capacity

"You used to be a good poster, you used to have the mental capacity to understand a thread like this, to understand that the answer is not always blow everything up".....Rah Rah the great

"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night."

the Jets suck thread. Continuing to give Pats fans pleasure.

Via multiple reports, Ryan said Wednesday that McElroy has an abdominal issue. (Given that he was sacked 11 times on Sunday, it’s surprising he still has an abdomen at all.)

While McElroy is expected to practice, his availability for Sunday suddenly is in question. And it could mean that Mark Sanchez and/or Tim Tebow will play.

How delicious. I just had visions of McElroy too hurt to play, Sanchize 'too played' (psyche) to hurt the team on the field, and Sexy Rexy having no choice but to play Tebow. Tebow goes on to gash the Jills badly;.........

and all the Jester fans on JI then commit virtual seppuku over the delirium that 'they could have been in the playoffs if only they had just started Tebow sooner.

What a riot that would be.

I hope the cheeze has a monster game vs the bills. Just enough to make the jesters think he turned the corner after a week on the bench.

then another 25 int season !

#Jets news: McElroy ruled out because of concussion. Lingered from game. Sanchez will start. #circus

According to Ryan, McElroy didn't disclose concussion symptoms. Trainers found out this morning. Tebow not happy, per Rex.

Rex says he is going with Sanchez because they have short preparation time and Sanchez knows the Bills better than Tebow

The circus is still in town.

Can Brady top Mark Sanchez INTs with his TDs this Sunday?
I predict 3 INTs for Sanchez and 2 TDs for Brady...

Sunday will be the last day of the Jets' 2012 season. It also will likely be the last day that Mike Tannenbaum will be the team's general manager.

As first reported on Sunday, according to a league source, Tannenbaum will be relieved of his duties as team owner Woody Johnson searches for a replacement.

One potential scenario is that Tannenbaum will be reassigned to another role within the organization.

Sanchez, who was given a new salary-cap draining contract in March that guaranteed him a combined $20.5 million in 2012 and 2013, quarterbacked the Jets to the American Football Conference’s championship game his first two seasons. Statistics show that the 26-year-old perhaps didn’t deserve the extension or a place in the team’s starting lineup even with the winning records.

To give Sanchez an extension in the offseason was monumentally ridiculous,” said Aaron Schatz, editor-in-chief of FootballOutsiders.com, which uses advanced statistics to analyze player values. “His performance is the equivalent of your average backup quarterback.
