Rules 1, 2 and 3 of the Belichick-era, "First take care of the Division."

With Miami looking like it thinks that it might actually be competitive, I'll feel better when one team is out of the way; the Jets at a demoralized 2--3 after a national TV blowout will go a long way towards creating rancor in their club house and confusion among their management and ownership.

As for Homefield advantage, it would indeed be nice to have, but let's not get too carried away over it.

In the Belichick era, the Pats are 2--0 in SB's without Homefield Advantage and 1--2 in SB's with Homefield Advantage.

Overall, they have had Homefield Advantage four times and are one SB win, two SB losses and one Division Round exit in those years.

Are you suggesting there isn't any already? Their cluelessness is what has made this all possible.

First things First, AFC east is what we need to think of winning right now . So , i am rooting for the texans

I disagree.

Winning the AFCE isn't going to be an issue. We have arguably the best 2 QBs in the division. The AFCE is absolute garbage.

I'm rethinking my stance.......I think I want the Jets to win, but only if Tebow comes in and saves the day.

it's a win because the texans lose a game, and it's a win because all hell breaks loose in new jersey.......and we know how well tebow works against the pats

I hate to say it. I want the Jets to win.

If they do, it will be a fluke game that will build up the Jets fans' confidence only to tear them down again when reality hits when they lose to the Colts next week. We also want the Texans to lose to hopefully get the #1 seed.

I would still give the Pats not much of a chance should they have to go to Baltimore or Houston in the playoffs......those 2 teams play extremely tough in their buildings and the Pats have struggled on the road against top teams in recent years.

You have to hope for a huge upset like when the Jags went to Denver and won back in 1996 and the Pats had home field against the Jags instead of heading to Denver where they never almost never beat Elway.

I want to win the division before I worry about playoff seeding.

Go Texans.

I want the Jets to win and I want them to do it with Tebow. Should make for some good entertainment.

What do you mean the TWO best QBs in the division???

Are you saying Mallett who has barely thrown a pass in a real game is somehow better than Fitzpatrick,Tannehill and even the Jets tandem?

Come on now....

The fact that it's a possibility is what makes it hilarious.

I should have made a poll :bricks:

This is a tight race

Yes I would take mallet over all of them. Tannehill is currently the only one of the 3 that shouldn't be worried about being murdered by the fan base.

JEST/Texans: who are you rooting for?

Your choices:

JEST
Texans
Tie
Asteroid

Re: JEST/Texans: who are you rooting for?

Is this a serious poll? Who do we..as pats fans...want to win? :bricks::bricks:

Re: JEST/Texans: who are you rooting for?

I really want to see this game, as a long time pats fan i want to see the jests Crushed, destroyed, umiliated. I want to see my former binky from '10 JJ Watt smash Lil'Marky into little pieces like humpty dumpty. Then i want to go over to JI and read all the whining and finger pointing. This could be a great night of schadenfreude, it may be almost as good as the pats winning yesterday.

Hmmm it might not be as crazy as it sounds. If I'm running a team, I know for a fact I wouldn't want any of those 3 starting for me. Honestly I just might consider a complete unknown over those guys. Although Tannehill I might have to make an exception I really only got a look at him in the Texans game where he was awful and haven't watched him since, where I've heard he has played better. But as far as Sanchez and Fitzpatrick, I'm pretty convinced those guys are not franchise QB's. With Mallett at least you have the possibility.

Re: JEST/Texans: who are you rooting for?

I think if you really want to get the best idea you should take tie and asteroid off the poll, I can see alot of people voting for those 2 instead of being forced to pick who they'd rather win.
