How nervous are you about the Bills game?

While your prognostication may end up being true two hours from now, it should be noted that there are indeed times in NFL history where a team that was down by 7 points at half time actually made a miraculous comeback and won that game.

You're right.
Just not this team, and not this year.

This game is getting out of hand right now.

I want to chance my season predictions...11-5...HOPEFULLY division win..but could be wildcard

This team is so ******* inconsistent....frustrating

Unless Ridley runs 30 times in this game for 100 yards plus, the offense is screwed

The Pats defense better come to play because I think it's going to be hard to score points in this game.

You severely trumpeted the Bills for the last few days. This moment has gotta be embarrassing for ya......

The Jets beat the Bills 48-28 and are in 1st place in the AFC East (on tiebreakers). How can we overrate the Jets?

The Jets absolutely dominated the Bills on both sides of the ball and have their destiny in their own hands.

The Patriots are in last place in the AFC East and sucking wind. Arguably, two of the top three players on the Pats' vaunted offense are injured. Panic has set in in Patriot Nation and the ledge is more crowded than a lifeboat on the Titanic.

Yikes!!!!!!!!

Patriots 52 -Bills 28 on the road without Mankins, Hernandez and Edelman.

The Jets lost 34-0 in their own stadium today.

You overrated the Jets. OK?

Oops. Miss Clara you ain't.

Well, it seems likely we're losing this game and we're going to start the season with a 1-3 record.
I guess the following question should be whether the Patriots have any chance of going deep into the playoffs if actually even making the playoffs.
This is not a very good team gentlemen as of this moment in time, at least not good enough to compete with the likes of the Texans.

Fail, thy name is pork3.

The scary thing about this team is you never know. I don't trust them like last year. Week in and week out you knew how the defense will prob play last year. Now even the offense has moments of dullness. That scares me especially going into Seattle and overseas to London vs. Rams. Those are two teams they should beat, but you never know which team will show up. Hopefully they start a run because they can't afford to drop anymore games they should win. The Jets and Dolphins are out of it, IMO! Its going to be Pats vs. Bills the rest of the season.

Terrible loss for the Patriots. We really need to question whether belichick has it anymore or whether it's time for him to hang them up. Wanny's D simply dominated them today and the Patriots could probably get him. McDaniels has also got to go an Martz is also available. That would be a dream team, Wanny could coach the D and Martzy the O. Slants and in cuts all day long.

Face it Patriot fans, we did see the changing of the guard today, that Bills team looks unstoppable..........................

LETS GO BUFFALO!!!! And with that, I would be shocked if you guys don't beat us. Are corners vs Thomas Brady is not looking good. But then on the other hand your corners suck too. lol

A buffalo fan with 3 total posts -- and he/she has shown more deductive reasoning ability than a shockingly significant amount of regular/semi regular posters.

we're just going to have to disagree. we watched the same calls and saw a big one differently. however, the most uncomfortable fact is that home field and a bye are the least of our concerns this afternoon.

Nothing to disagree about, really... The Gronk hold shouldn't have been called, and the Mayo call was just one of many in the Baltimore game.

The offense has actually been better this year than last year.
Absent the Gronk holidng call that cost us the Az game, we'd be sitting here thinking all is wonderful, and lamenting the tough road loss to a good team that might have only been a zebra raping.

We'll be 1-3 against a team that we've beaten with record setting regularity during the dynasty years, competing for last place in the division with the record there being 0-1, having only gone against the "easy" part of our schedule. How would that not signal a team on the downswing of a dynasty?

Drugs? Failing education system? Lurching decline of an increasingly instant gratification based society? I am at a loss how ONE GAME IN SEPTEMBER can be the decider that the Patriot Dynasty is over.

The lack of logic, the over emotionalism, the disregard of established history.......it is just mind boggling that posters continue to make such absurd claims prior to a September game. Wow, just wow......

I want to thank EVERYONE involved in this thread. It has been an awesome display of the disfunction associated with NFL Team Fandom.

Well done......

I just posted this in the Mankins out thread, but relevant to this thread:

Matt Chatham brought up a point that might set some minds at ease. He said that the Pats have problems (even when Donald Thomas was starting for Connolly) not when four guys rushed, but when the opposing team sent the fifth guy because of lack of continuity and communication by the o-line. It was the extra guy that screwed them up. The Bills are a team that will send four most of the time.

He said he would be more scared if the Pats were facing a Cards or Ravens that tends to send the fifth guy more, but a Wansteadt defense is vanilla and they line up and go with not a lot of twists. There probably won't be a lot of missed blocking assignments. Maybe lost battles, but not like a lot of guys running in unblocked like we saw in the last two games.

Chatham absolutely nailed it in his pre game perspective on the OL. Bills rushed 4 and the OL of the week did a good job protecting the Franchise against the vaunted Mario Williams and Anderson scary pass rush.

What a difference 12 hours makes. How full is that ledge right now?

This thread was just a buncha woosies whining that their ****s are too small.

Kneejerk reaction thread- you should start it this week!

The amazing thing about sports that break games into quarters is there are FOUR of them.

In the darkest hour you'd be well advised not to plan the funeral before the body dies!
