This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

The funny thing is Rex acted all pissed off and despite what could be the worst offensive performance of the season in the NFL, all he wanted to talk about was run D. "I never allowed that many rushing yards". He has never been a HC, he has been reduced now to very bad DC, one who was able to build a pretty good one around Revis and has an awful one without him, and who's resume was based on being handed a top D in Baltimore and not screwing it up too bad.

Big problem for the jets. Monday and Tuesday off for "soul searching," when they don't find one they won't be able to return for the rest of this season.

You mean searching for new strip bars

I think Rex was saying SOLE searching.

I'd be surprised if the Jets even win five games, at this point. What little talent they had is done for the year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Tebow take over soon

The only respectable offensive talent they had was Holmes....now he is gone

I could see them struggling to score 300 offensive points this season

Looks like a 5-11 team right now

No magical Mark Sanchez fourth quarter comeback against cellar dwellers this week? Awwwww.

What was the score 34 - 0 niners?........No toe for wrex tonight hes cut off after that performance.

Who could they beat?
Offensively they have a bottom 5 QB (yes even with all the rookies starting) probably the worst WR corps in the NFL, a bottom 5 RB group, and excellent C, above avg RG, overrated and avg LT and liabilites on the rest of the OL.

Defensively, the DL is nothing special. The LBs are atrocious, even with a good one in Harris. The safeties are mediocre and the corners average at best.

This is just and awful football team that was made to look average by leaning on Revis take away the best receiver on the field and allow the rest of the defense to play downhill with the advantage of being able to be overly aggressive.

Funny though that the 49ers ever out-Wildcatted the Tebows.

They may only score 200 because they hung 48 up in week 1. They ARE THAT BAD. And its fun to see

...
This is just an awful football team ...

That can't be true. Just last year I heard on local radio that the Jets have had a much better drafting strategy than the Patriots. ...

As my first post on this forum I'd like to say, we have something in common with the Jests.

Today, we saw that the Pats are who we thought they were

and also, we saw that the Jests are who we thought they were

Wheres Denny Green when you need em?!

Well they're still winning the SB

BOLD PREDICTION TIME: NY Jets win the Super Bowl this season - Jets Insider.com Forums

I know everyone's down on the team right now, but remember that we're 2-2 and still tied for first in the division.

I believe that we'll win the Super Bowl this season. It just seems to be written in the cards. Anyone who has been watching football for a long time can probably see this too.

It only takes one game to bounce back. This team still has the core that took us to back-to-back AFC Championship games and almost to the Super Bowl.

Do we have any other intelligent people here who see what I see?

ah yes intelligence.......

NOPE

not in the land of the jesters.....

5 - 11 will be at best for them.

Sanchez was 13 of 29 for 103 yards

I don't know if it's possible for the Rats to suffer too much misfortune for even MY satisfaction, but I DO know that they are not even close to that theoretical point.

**** the Rats!

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet:
Yikes RT @MMehtaNYDN: Mark Sanchez went 13-for-29 for 103 yards. 2 turnovers QB rating: 39.9. 3rd straight week fewer than 50% of his passes

When the Jets wanted some of Tebow's qualities to rub off on Sanchez, I doubt they were hoping for completion percentage to be one of them.
