So because of that you think the Pats will struggle against the Ravens defense?

We don't have the homerun threat that A.J. Green is.. he stretches the field for the Bengals the way Moss used to do for us.

But by no means does that mean we won't find a way, considering that Brady is five times the QB Dalton is.

I have to say that so far, Ray Lewis doesn't appear to have slowed down

It's the first game of the season. Older players can wear down as the year goes along. But he is having a good night tonight.

I don't think the Bengals' offense is that good though and they have struggled at times to stop it.

Man this Ravens offense looks scary good. If we're going to win it's going to have to be a shoot out, but it's going to be hard to put up that many points on their defense.

Looks like the game is just about ready to be put on ice. Ravens have seen that the Bengals are having a lot of trouble with play action and bootlegs and are just going to that every other snap.

I have to say that so far, Ray Lewis doesn't appear to have slowed down

He dropped about 25 pounds, so his speed should still be high right now. The issues for him moving forward will be his ability to take on opposing linemen and power backs, and wearing down over the course of the season.

highly doubt they will run that well up the middle vs the pats. wilfork and love are equal to 3 guys up front

They're better but I think the bengals poor defense is helping them look great

Bengals defense looks two steps too slow, mentally and physically. Hard to believe this is a Marvin Lewis coached defense.

Don't be so sure. We've had our trouble with play-actions too.

Yeah, and Hassellback was having his way yesterday when he first came in. I think this Ravens offense could spell serious trouble. Belichick will probably commit completely to taking away the run. So look for a lot of Flacco pass yards and a lot of bend but don't break. I just wonder if the Pats defense will be able to keep from breaking.

I don't know if the Bengals' defense is going to be good this year. They seem to be good only on odd years (they were good in 2009 and 2011, but sucked in 2010 and just average in 2008).

They may be a year away from really contending the way Marvis Lewis wants them to be. Maybe another playmaker on offense, but that Defense needs work.
