How good a player was he in college? Any thoughts on where he would have been drafted had he entered the draft?

I wouldn't read to much into it now. IMO this means BB realizes we need help at KR and that RB is thin so why not kick the tires. I think it is way to early to assume that he will be taking anyones roster spot just because he is fast. He has to first prove he can return kicks and probably prove he can at least start to learn the RB position on this team.

Definitely a fun signing though and something we will all be looking at closely.

The knock is he struggles breaking any contact, but he is as fast as it gets. So we will see. If he is good enough he will stick. I'm hopeful>

He was thought to be about a 5th rounder. Though if he ran a 4.1 or 4.2 40, as he reportedly can do, he may have shot up as high as the 2nd round.

According to Jason Chatraw of the NYT, he would have been a likely 3rd or 4th rounder.

I'd imagine he takes a ST spot, as he'll probably be used primarily as a KR/PR.

I know what you are saying but to play devils adovocate I hope he takes their roster spot even Branch. If this kid can come in and in a few weeks prove worthy of the roster spot then all the power to him and with that speed it would be something worthy of getting excited about.
