I was wondering who would surface first. Evelyn isn't backing down...
Evelyn Lozada Releases Official Statement About Ochocinco Incident: 'Chad Has Failed To Take Responsibility For His Actions'
And while Evelyn is no stranger to violence (at least against female castmates who cross her) and a small number of women are guilty of publicly making false accusations for whatever reason, it's pretty pathetic to see the number of men who remain so willing to demean and paint all women (they aren't related to) with a broad brush when it comes to domestic abuse particularly when one of their admired athletes is involved.
I don't know who instigated this or who headbutted whom, but it's not like this was Chad's first rodeo, either. He was also on thin ice with his home town team before the incident and contrary to public posturing he may have begun to realize that his act wasn't going to fly there much longer. I could imagine at that point the last thing he was up for was a confrontation with the sharp tongued new wifey over the implication of a condom receipt. Either one of them could have snapped under the circumstances, but she's the one with the stitches.
And lots of guys who never smoked (unless cigars count...) or drank have done a lot worse than headbutt the Mrs.
I think Mike Freeman of CBS may be on to something.
We have no idea who he really is. Not even sure he knows.
“It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday," the reality star wrote in an email via her publicist. "I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time," she wrote.

My opinion: I think Chad Johnson fooled us all. Me included. Straight up clowned us.
