The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

How many times have you heard those ignoramuses say if not for Mo Lewis Brady never sees the field and Belichick would juyst be an average coach, he got lucky. What a bunch of dumbasses, Brady was going to be QB in a couple of weeks if Bledsoe didnt get hit, all the hit did was spped up the process a couple weeks.
Some of the writers who followed the team back then said Brady beat Bledsoe out in TC but BB didnt think Brady had enough experience yet but after the slow start by Bledsoe BB was ready to pull the trigger.
They act as if that Mo Lewis hit changed the course of the last 10 years when in fact it had no effect at all.
And of corse Sanchez doesnt suck, Tanny did, now Sanchez will blosson into the QB he was destined to be, newsflash for the dumbasses, he is the QB he is destined to be. Sparano isnt going to make Sanchez smarter or work harder, he is what he is.

Way to alienate your veterans, moron. What a circus that team is.

You know how team turn on the radio and will fight or haggle over what music to play?

With the Jets, it's all calliope, all the time.

A rookie who has never played a NFL game..already has a spot on the roster..should help coples stay motivated

uh...not quite right...he has a spot on the roster BUT he already HAS the STARTING DL job...doesn't even have to compete..he's starting...Wrecks KNOWS starting talent before it ever hits the field...makes him "special" and completely different from the other 31 head coaches in the league...just wait until all 31 other coaches cry and moan about missing out on "I play for muhselves" Coples....

Coples vs Jones: Not sure who, besides Mayock, had Jones over Coples. Both are athletic freaks, except Coples has actually PRODUCED on the college level.

Hightower vs Hill: Both good prospects who will help their teams a lot. Hightower is a great fit for the Pats LB corps, Hill fits like aglove for the Jets WR corps.

Tavon Wilson vs Josh Bush/Antonio Allen: Most analysts had both Bush and Allen rated higher than Wilson, even though we got them several rounds later. Plus, we got 2 of them.

Demario Davis vs Jake Bequette: Bequette is a nice, hard-working pass rusher, but he doesn't have near the upside of Davis.

Jets also drafted Jordan White, Terrance Ganaway and RG335. Not sure how, on paper, anyone could say the Patriots had a better draft. We'll see down the line who had the better draft, but right now, based on value right now, I can't imagine putting the Pats ahead of the Devils.

:bricks::bricks::bricks:

Coples is in no way boom or bust. Nothing even points to that, other than "Analylists" saying that his 1 year drop from tier 1 production means he is "lazy". His coach was changed multiple times, he was moved to a different position, and the entire time fell apart around him. Of course his stats wont look anywhere near as good as it did the previous season. Boom or Bust implies that they are either a complete stud or are garbage, and I just cant see Coples being garbage even if he doesnt end up being godly.

and HOLY **** at this thread..http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=72146

Guess Hill is the next Cavlin Johnson based on his heights and weight. Do jets fans ever think? At all?

planet....

Coples is really going to be feeling the love....

So the Green Beans wanted this guy instead of the lazy goof they drafted as a consolation prize:

Irvin -- a former high school dropout, who served time in a juvenile correctional facility, obtained his GED, and played at Mt. San Antonio Junior College ...

Classy organization, that Jersey team. :singing::singing:

word is, fatty McGasbag Ryan got his M.D. in podiatry during the off season, specializing in the breakthrough "Vacu-suck" procedure...take a look at Wrecksie's latest work...

not bad...looks like he's been using the "Vacu-suck" procedure on his entire body too...either that or he's got one hellacious. voracious stomach parasite....oh wait...he has a lap dance...wha??...

So it ain't so, Rex Ryan. No more topless pictures? No more gut-wrenching jokes? There goes a blog staple. The Jets coach underwent "weight-loss surgery," according to the New York Daily News.

Ryan had a lap-band procedure done, which "entails placing an adjustable gastric band around the upper part of the stomach,'' the story said. "It makes the stomach smaller so it holds less food. Eventually, the appetite decreases, leading to weight loss."

Ryan weighed 310 pounds when he was hired by the Jets a year ago. He was 340 in training camp. He was a Macy's Day float by Thanksgiving.

"You're always concerned," Ryan said this year of his weight. "I want to see my kids grow, I want to see my grandkids. The thing that gets me is, my cholesterol is fine, my blood pressure is fine. I'm a genetic freak, I guess."

No, Wrecks, you're a genetic MISTAKE...."Macy's float"...heh

As we reported the night of the first round, the Jets tried to trade out of the 16th spot, but couldn't find any takers. A picture is starting to develop, isn't it?

Coples is really going to be feeling the love....

Just a follow-up comparison:

Jones received the phone call from Patriots director of football/head coach administration Berj Najarian, who told Jones "It's going just the way I told you it was going to go," to which Jones responded "Yeah, I know. You did. You told me."

I need some help with something. Just back from seeing Springsteen. Fantastic, as always. Except when he keeps referencing northern New Jersey.

Got into a debate which ended before being complete: what else of any value to our species, other than Springsteen, has come out of northern New Jersey? Can anyone offer up anything?

Thanks, I'll hang up and take the answers off the air.

Well Sanchez is starting also....oh my bad..I thought you meant a player who seems like a rookie and has never played a NFL game well.

But to Quinton Coples credit, I have to say, he will hit more WR's than
Sanchez.

I don't know. I've never been much of a Springsteen fan myself, so I say they could napalm the entire region and America's collective IQ would automatically jump about 10 points. A lot of single mothers would be missing child-support checks, though.

hey Tunes...I was passing through jersey the other day and stopped in to see that famous Jet trophy case...it really is a beauty...

WHOA!!! Someone swiped the MetLife Snoopy Bowl Trophy from their preseason triumph over the Giants a couple years back. Maybe they moved it to the owner's suite?
