Vollmer? <>

Ebner kicked a long penalty through the uprights. He may back up Gost just in case.

Rugby players, by the way, are not tougher than NFL players, since the beating one takes isn't nearly as brutal, but they are much better form tacklers. Rugby requires it. In rugby, you don't try to pummel your guy and take yourself out of the play. You form tackle and pop right back up again and pursue the ball.

The Nate Ebner school of tackling. Probably why BB drafted him to teach our DB's

WTF!

Nate Ebner?

Meanwhile, Tommy Streeter was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.

I can't believe i waited all day for nate egbert....

In 12 games played last season, Ebner saw action in just three defensive snaps, recording one sack.

We just drafted Rudy.

Since no player available is making this team as anything other than a Special Teamer not sure why people are up in arms about picking someone who is just that. Anyone who can't play special teams at a high level is a wasted draft pick since he'll just get cut.
Based on his Pro-day numbers and watching those rugby highlights I assume he'll be a gunner, and maybe even get a shot at returning kicks? Rugby would mean he must have good hands, and his speed and agility looks good as well.

Dude, they just drafted Dave from accounting. We're having a little fun with it, relax.

The Colts drafted a real Fugger.

Vollmer played soccer in high school I believe

In rugby, you have to form tackle. You're not allowed to "hit". That said, they do take a beating as the action is non-stop. My son played rugby and the football players had a tough time keeping up.

Then why did the Pats trade down to get extra picks? I'm sure they could have picked someone at 48 and 63 who would make the team.

Their 2nd & 3rd-round picks, Wilson & Bequette, WILL make the team.

Brock Lesner and The Rock in Round 7. Do it !

We're not. We're just having fun with the BB's draft eccentricities.

I think a few of the guys in the secondary haven't played football ever.
