Not long to go now. so now Lavonte David goes aswell! UGH

Team captain, orphaned at age 12, Chargers liked him. There is more. Welcome Tavon Wilson.

Our next picks comming up,,,, can anyone tell me who the next best availible cab driver is?

Could BB draft Wilson again with the next pick just to make it clear that he didn't make a mistake?

This isn't a matter of if he works out or not. This is about WHY pick him at 48. Who were they competing against for him. This is a guy that no one has heard about. ESPN didn't know who he was. Kiper and Gruden had NOTHING to say about him because they didn't know who the F$$$K he was....and these are guys who are able to discuss for hours obscure 7th rounders . They were dumbfounded. Again he could very well be a great S and if BB desperately wanted him, there is no question that he could have been gotten at 62.

I can't think of a more stunning pick in the BB era.

In all fairness, its possible that BB and company caught wind that another team also liked Wilson. Its also possible that there were no partners to trade down.

The important thing is that between free agency and the draft, we've got some nice competition forming at the S position. It's hard to argue that we haven't improved.

It's also possible that BB was on his 4th single malt beverage when making the pick. I just like having a Wilson on the team again.

the chargers followed the pats and had him in for a workout

Bucs are having a pretty good offseason imo.

NFC south looks damn tough for the future.

i dont like it but what did people say when we drafted 2 TE's... omg god wasted pick, pot head, coulda gotten someone else or more picks...

now sure people heard of them but cmon give the guy a break. If you love this team then you'll hope for the best and if Belichick picked him in the 2nd round its because he saw something special in him. the Pats always find a job for everyone on the team and work players to their greatest strengths. I can't wait to see this guy do work.

It makes absolutely zero sense to draft Wilson at 48 when they are picking again at 62 UNLESS they legitimately believed another team would take him in between those picks.

why is everyone calling him a JETS fan when his handle is baltimorepatsfan?

Did I miss something and did Ian start requiring people to provide proof that their screen names are truthful representations of their true selves? Is it impossible now for a Jets troll to pretend to be a Pats fan to come here and stir up crap whenever something goes bad (or perceived to) for the Pats?

It is pretty well understood this guy is a Jets troll who comes here and starts crap in gameday threads and after losses.

That Michael Jordan ESPN advert is hilarious.

A second to that welcome! Nothing against Mr. Wilson, just stunned that they spent #48 on him (and I'm sure he's just as stunned himself).

Alright let's talk about the last pick (assuming it won't get traded which it will.)

RUEBEN RANDLE!!
TRUMAINE JOHNSON!!

I didn't even have to wait until tomorrow before the "everyone was going to take him" claims started rolling in...

Hell, it didn't even take an hour.
