It will be interesting to see if begging for a job works, or if he will have to see if the league will pass a new rule and allow him to play for free:)

Hey, T.O. caught three passes for 53 yards for the Allen (TX) Wranglers last night. Surely Randy Moss could get a job in indoor football. They might even pay him. Worry no more about Randy Moss.

What I dont get is why a couple of posters MUST comment and shoot down anything postitive posted that is Moss related? Why do you have so much hatred for the dude? Did he sleep with your wife? Sister, or Mom? I dont get it.

I know you could say the same thing about the people that come in to defend moss, and why we post every time as well, but one thing is for sure, I would rather have positvity in my heart about something than what you guys have.

Its really strange. Just tell us the truth, what did moss do to you?

Just remember that, without those posters, this thread would have died a long time ago.

If Moss signs in NE, I'm just waiting to come back and quote every person that bashed him, and said no way it would happen.

Yeah. Just think how empty our live would be if this thread dies.

Then I guess you should just be prepared for alternative thinkers to chime in, which the Moss fan club never seems to be.

You don't have to hate someone to realize they are not a good for what this team does. Or in some cases for what any team hopes to do. Randy has a proven track record, both positive and negative, on and off the field. His supporters at all cost just never want to acknowledge that because they believe freakish athletic talent trumps all. And apparently they believe it endures, when in reality it's the least likely kind to.

These are the same people who said he was washed in '07 and hated him then. Those who were the most vocal and opposed to him joining the team then. The problem was he came in and produced for their favorite team and shattered records. So they never actually rooted for randy even when he wore the laundry. They just dealt with it. No matter how his tenure ended here the result would be the same. There is more vitriol for moss than any ex patriot besides Asante and he dropped a SB winning int.

Don't waste your time gloating even if he comes back and is serviceable to the team. It won't change anything. They will pretend to root for the guy and post every negative aspect of his tenure afterwards. See 07-10 if you don't believe that.

Take a look at the board. It's not as if there are a lot of other thread options.

Perhaps you could start a few...

I am extremely positive. I am excited that the Pats will upgrade the WR position this offseason with Wayne or Lloyd. Those are real upgrades.

You need to deal with the reality that Moss is far more likely to be a Jet next season than a Patriot. The Jets are looking for a low cost outside/deep threat. The Pats are likely to go with one of two players for that position - Brandon Lloyd or Reggie Wayne. The Jets are currently linked to the Moss sweepstakes while all indications show the Pats not currently interested.

I don't hate Moss. I just think it is clear the Pats have moved on and I seriously doubt he has much left. Why bring him back because he was a stud three or four seasons ago?

Reche Caldwell, Adam Vinatieri, Adalius Thomas, Darius Butler, Albert Haynesworth, and Ellis Hobbs all say "Hi". Caldwell hasn't been with this team since the preseason of 2007 and whenever you bring up his name all you hear is about his "bug eyes" or how "he can't even catch a cold". He is the closest thing to Bill Buckner that the Pats have. Pats fans booed Vinatieri last year in the Indy game in Foxboro. Moss isn't even close to having more vitrol than any ex-Patriot.

DUDE!

It's only an OBSERVATION - and an objective one. None of knows for a fact what his health was then or how it may (or may not) have affected him or what his health is now. THAT IS A FACT.

Please learn how to read and argue like a grown-up.

You stated it as a fact. We were discussing his play in 2010 and you stated that he was working through injuries that had slow him down for over a year.
Now you are saying the flaw in my comment that you are using an injury as an excuse when you do not have any evidence he was affected by an injury is that no one (including you) knows what his health was? You are agreeing with me that you are wrong to blame his poor play on the possibility of some hypothetical injury.

Its football, why do you need to attach emotion to assessing a player?

Its really strange. Just tell us the truth, what did moss do to you?

So, I should change my opinion about him as a football player because I have nothing personally against him? Really?

And if it doesnt? Did you bash yourself for all the times it came up last year and didnt happen?

We won't see your post then because of all the flying pigs in our way.

Some of us were very positive towards Randy back when he played here. Some of us liked Rodney Harrison too. Neither player is a shadow of their former self in 2012.

All the latest objective observational evidence we have on Moss post 2009 is that he's done. He's still an NFL player only in your fantasies. No post 2009 objective evidence exists to warrant an obsession with the retired old NFL player.

Really? Which ones? I don't see anyone in this thread who was antiMoss in 2007.

I have zero vitriol for Moss. I am absolutely someone who roots for the laundy. What does that have to do with anything?

I don't understand your comments.
Are you saying there is something wrong with rooting the Patriots and their players while being honest about the players?

It appears that some fans have decided you must hate Moss (and always secretly did) as a human being to question that his skills have eroded or discuss the overwhelming proof that exists.
Apparently you must pick a side on a player, and then for the rest of your life be limited to either positive responses whenever their name is raised or negative responses whenever their name is raised.
Wait until Tom Brady runs for political office. Anyone who disagrees with his politics will be outed as a fan who really hated Brady all along and were just hiding it.

I don't think it's going to happen, either. I just won't rule it out. BB's mind on personnel is a difficult one to really crack. Drafts stocked with DE/OLB end without the team grabbing any DE/OLB prospects of note, assumptions that he'll only go cheap with FAs are destroyed with Colvin/Thomas signings, etc...

lol.. I will "deal with it" just fine if Moss goes else where. Its just silly think think one would have to prepare oneself in order to "deal" with a football signing. It has no real effect over our actual lifes. Its just recreation.

thats why the Moss hate is so bothersome. Its one thing to state your opinion, but couple folks repsond to every.single.post. that even says something good about moss.

Patsfan: Hey you hear Moss let someone use his club card at Sams Club? What a great guy.

Mo: He obvioulsy just wanted to get mailed the extra coupons.

Andyjohnshon: yea, he mailed it in way back at isle 6, no way he makes it to the produce section. He's done.

I'm trying to prepare myself well in advance to deal with my disappointment :D

My rational side tells me to savor these years as treasures. I liked 2011 and I hope to love 2012

I'm glad you have skipped the formalties and are admittedly making things up and calling them other peoples comments.
