More important for this week is the Pats' 6th AFCCG in that time span.

Yeah...but only Jet fans consider making it to the AFCCG an accomplishment  Actually I'm wrong....their fat coach does as well

I heard this stat on the radio, thought it was interesting:

The Ravens have played only 1 offense that is in the top 11 in total yardage this season, @ the San Diego Chargers who were 5th. SD scored 34 points. The Patriots are 2nd in total yardage.

Ravens' and Steelers' defensive ratings both benefitted from playing, well, each other, twice ... plus Colt McCoy twice and a rookie Andy Dalton twice.

Thank god we have less than a week of this type lunacy from their fans.

The Ravens scare me. The OL and Brady have to be as good this week as they were against Denver or we'll be watching a Gints-Ravens SB, which is pretty much my worst nightmare... Gints-Jets is #1 of course...

Expanding on your theme, how miserable are Squealer fans right now? :D
It's one of the few things fans of the Pats and ravens can enjoy together.

RE: this thread, I think it's going to be an outright battle, and I hope the Pats win (of course) but in NO WAY do I think this will be an easy win. Of course, I'm sure if we went to a rat-bird forum, they're displaying the utmost in caution approaching this game.

I thought they won the Super Bowl the last two years?

Ray-Ray just said, "We aren't the Denver Broncos. We are the Baltimore Ravens." Looking for the link.

Really? THAT'S your definition of "an arrogant team already running their mouths"? Sorry, try again.

I haven't watched much Ravens ball this year, but am I the only one that thinks Flacco looks like Mark Sanchez out there?

I suspect I have an unrealistically bad impression of Flacco from sitting through the excruciating debacle of this year's Ravens-Jets game. If you were lucky enough to miss it, here were the QB stat lines:

J. Flacco 10/31 163 yds 1 FUM 1 INT 0 TD
M. Sanchez 11/35 119 3 FUM 1 INT 0 TD

Obviously, Flacco can't really be that bad. But the image remains burned into my brain.

Point taken; the Ravens really have raised the bar for arrogant teams running their mouths. Let's see what happens a full 24 hours after their win yesterday.

He can and is. Today, someone asked me if I'd rather have him or Sanchez. I said Sanchez without hesitation.

Lol so should I go to the Ravens forum and make the same thread since Ravens fans are ****y too!?

Marky-mark...how ya doin' rookie?

Have you joined our board to see what it feels like to be a part of pure awesome-ness?:D

Welcome!! Stop by anytime and bring all your friends too! But be careful cause we have have a lot of internet tough-guys who want to kick some Baltimore tail.

As a matter of fact, I guarantee you that our members are WAY tougher than yours!

Just for giggles, here are some posts from baltimoreravens.com:

the pats don´t scare me half the way the texans did. absolutely NO defense. and we are able to stop the pretty boy. rice will have a huge day next weekend!!!

We have the depth and talent in the secondary to match up with their TEs and WRs.

Do they forget that not only was Flacco so hurt he basically handed the ball off that postseason, and that our starting wide receiver was the same guy who dropped what might have been the game-winning first down in Foxborough earlier that season? We beat them when they had a better defense and when our quarterback might has well have been a crash-test dummy for all he did out there. Now we have a good receiving corps and our quarterback is coming off of the best postseason start of his career.

IF we're winning big at the very end of the game, we need to take a shot at Brady for all the phantom ref calls that happened to us when we just barely tapped Brady on the helmet or got pushed into him by their big stupid's on the O-Line. Punish him.

So, not surprisingly, B-more has its own share of homers, posters with selective memory, and asshats.

By the way........Just so everyone is completely clear on this. The OP is a total troll post, posted by a c00cky a-hole Ratbird fan that even admits to "stirring up sh!t" on a Ravens message board.

Good lord man - seriously?

Sanchez(career): 55 TDs, 51 Ints, Comp %: 55.3, QB Rating: 73.2

Flacco(career): 80 TDs, 46 Ints, Comp %: 60.8, QB Rating: 86.0

I mean, it's one thing to say that Joe's not elite - clearly, he's not. You want to label him a "game-manager"? Fine. He's mostly not going to carry a team all by himself (although he can and has on occasion, as in Pgh earlier this year). He's maddeningly inconsistent.

But to say he's below Sanchez? That's just completely absurd.

I've got to agree with you on this. I'm no fan of Joe Flacco, but Sanchez?!!
