Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

Ravens rolling down the field via the run, now they decide to throw it? Why?

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

J.J. Watt is mekkin' some plays on that Texans D in these playoffs.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

Looked like a touchback to me.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

What's that thing on Flacco's face?

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

for that stupid play on the punt..the texans should be leading now..

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

Flacco and Sanchez will be replaced by 2013 probably.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

Baltimore has done nothing offensively in this game, other than a couple of great catches from Boldin while Houston is pushing around the Ravens defence right now.

Houston has gift-wrapped 14 of the Ravens 17 points. It should be 13-3 Houston. On the road.

And you STILL want to play Houston? Let's see what happens in the 2nd half.

I really don't care if the score is a 17-13 final for Baltimore. Right now, they're looking like the softer team.

Man, TJ Yates is really careless with the football. He threw 1 horrible pick today and has tossed some other passes that easily could have been intercepted. Did the same thing in the Cincy game last week.

Please Houston, win!!

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

I would rather play the ravens IMO...those drives by the texans that ended with field goals would be TD's with brady

flacco is not a good quaterback

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

I can't make up my mind. Is Houston way better than I think they are or is Baltimore way worse than I think they are???

Yes. Absolutely. All day everyday and twice on Sunday. Quick, name a rookie QB who has won an AFCC.

Rhymes with bun.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

Flacco is a lot like Tebow in that you have to make him earn his scores - not gift wrap field position and keep the game in front of the safeties. He'll make a mistake if you make him play the numbers, especially if you can get pressure on him where he is a no instincts statue in the pocket.

Not many rookie quarterbacks have the running game and defence that T.J. Yates has behind him. Not to mention the arguable top receiver in the game.

I really don't care who we play. We're in the AFC Title Game, that's awesome. Both teams have strengths and weaknesses.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

OK, after reading through this thread the consensus is clear: We want the Pats to play whichever team loses today. Because they won't be as good as the team that wins.

I had to leave the house during the 2nd quarter and was listening to the game via Sirius and I gotta say that Trent Green is a really good analyst, I'd like to see him on TV in the future.

Re: Ravens-Texans game thread

just caught this tweet by nfl

Foster's 95 rush yds are the most @Ravens have allowed in a postseason game, surpassing Eddie George’s 91 yds in 2000

not sure how many playoff games that includes, interesting...

Houston is a very good all around team. Not having Schaub hurts them though. Baltimore is soft imo, they played 2 top 10 offenses this year and got blown away. I hope Bmore can pull this out to come take their beating next week.

I personally would rather play Denver again
