Brady 6 at 8PM and Pats Broncos 9:30 on NFL network. I missed the Brady 6 when it was on before but heard great things about it.

This show gives me goose bumps!

Funny thing is I remember when Brady got drafted. I walked into the other room and told my wife the new coach is an idiot and just wasted a pick on a guy who will never make the team.

Never been happier to be wrong in my life.

Haha. Nice ~~

Rest in Peace **** Rehbein without him none of this is possible. :rocker:

What are some takeaways from this program?

1. Intelligence, heart and work ethic can beat physical measurables. Brady was pretty much an embarrassment at the combine.

2. Swagger matters. Brady had (and has) a huge ego and belief in himself, even in direct contradiction to objective reality.

3. Everyone needs a break or two. Brady was a **** Rehbein bad day away from falling off the board. What happens without the Mo Lewis hit? What if Drew Henson decides not to play baseball?

I think Drew was getting pulled no matter what. He was really a mess then. He just could not decide when to throw the ball and stayed in the pocket too long and kept getting sacked.

We are so lucky to have Tom Brady as our QB. The day he retires will be a sad day for Patriot nation.

as a bronco and rams fan. watching that really changed my perspective on brady. he loves this game. and is truelly a big fan of it. id have to say i couldnt stand brady watching him beat the rams in 01 when i lived in STL before moving to Den... man it was tough. after all this, really changed my mind about him. Even watching him play in Denver this season. i just sat back and was like wow. this is something unique and special to watch and you just have to respect him even if you are rooting for the team he is playing against. You guys are lucky NE .

I just watched this with my son and it was fun explaining the Beldsoe Brady debates. I actually made an enemy at work because he was so pro Bledsoe. I also got to explain who Kurt Warner was and his story which is just as good and better in some ways. Warner is a good guy.

warner hurts to talk about cuz he was such a great guy to the city of st. louis. Then martz completely destroyed the relationships of that rams team. and got rid of kurt. was pretty sad to see if you were a rams fan.

I have Brady 6 and Sound FX on my DVR to watch after work. Looking forward to watching them.

I remember the Bledsoe/Brady debate like it was yesterday. I must be getting old. I, too, was a huge Bledsoe fan and was upset when he lost his job after his injury. That being said, handing the reins to Brady was the best move in franchise history and I'm glad BB went with his gut on that one.

Bledsoe was great when he had Ben Coates and he would just throw it quck and hard. Once he started trying to read coverage he lost it. I wanted him gone a year before he left. If he had stayed in for all of 2001 the Patriots would have been an 8 and 8 team.

I loved it. For those that don't have the patience to watch all 6 parts and want a more concise version, that's equally inspiring, I have watched this youtube video over and over and over: Tom Brady Tribute to the Greatest - YouTube

Love the choice in music. He really deserves it. His career truly is that epic. We are watching a living NFL legend in action. Because of his rings, he will be remembered far longer than even guys like Peyton Manning or Marino and even Farve when it's all said and done.

Some need to remember, John Elway went 16 years as a starter after being drafted in 1983 not winning his first super bowl until 1998. He went out on top after winning 2 back to back. If Pats don't make it this year, that's still only a 7 year "drought" for Brady. But unlike Elway, Tom didn't throw costly picks and won his first 3. Elway was 38 years old when he finally won his first super bowl. Tom's 34. Montana won his in a 10 year span, and had 2007 not happened, Tom would probably surpass him. I think that may have affected this Patriots team a bit but Tom seems to be back in full force now. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have a perfect season on your way to the Super Bowl, knowing how much it means to the NFL, and then lose that super bowl.

Kudos to him for never quitting and fighting back from that. I don't think there's too many characters that would have the motivation required to remain on top of your game after what happened. I can't think of another athlete that bounced back as graciously as Brady did. And that super bowl run, may I remind some was a result of this team bouncing back as well, among other drama.

That says just as much about Tom Brady, the Patriots, Bill and this entire organization really. Playing in this playoff game against the Broncos 4 years later says just as much as it would have said had they won that super bowl. I mean wow! He still has the resiliency to be here once again, after all that and after consecutively being one and done in the playoffs. That's tough man. These guys aren't robots. They are human so to have that type of mental strength, it's remarkable.

You know they say you should judge success by the number of times you get back up. Well not only has Tom achieved success, but he's done that part as well. Keeps getting back up. I do hope Tom goes out on top just like Elway whenever he does decide to retire, but he has plenty of life left in him and he's clearly not ready to quit.

Excellent post. Sadly there must be quite a few here who don't have the patience as you call it to watch an hour long program. 4 superbowls in 7 years including 3 wins and a last second loss followed by an ACL...followed by a unanimous MVP season sandwiched around 2 one and dones on a team being retooled on the fly... There just aren't many players let alone QB's who have the intestinal fortitude to stay that course without either becoming complacent or self absorbed or both. That's why I get so pissy with the what have you done for me lately crowd that can't wait to look ahead to his successor so they can skip the last chapters of the story he is writing here and get on to the winning it all right now again sequel. They obviously haven't read too many books, either, 'cause sequels seldom come close to living up the the epic work they follow.

Yeah I'm so glad things happened the way they did. I was SO wrong back in 2000/2001. I was actually calling BB coach "Bellichicken" for not putting Bledsoe back in. LOL A lot of crow I ate.

This was a great program. Have watched it twice now.
