the lil' rapist had 6 rushing TD's ...that's
what the guy meant by 32

no no no...Jet fan is an entirely new SPECIES...fans of all other 31 teams are still classified as "Homo Sapiens"...Jet fan belongs to this new startling off shoot of the supposedly extinct "Homo Erectus" hominid...to wit.."Homo Dejectus"....
I concur with your theory Dr. J. Absoulutly brilliant conclusion. You honor us sir. Think you have a winner here

Too bad his INTs+FumsLost matched his TD passes....

guys like i have been saying..it takes about 10+ years for a QB to progress..it takes a long time for a QB to learn how to read the D and get his throwing motion down

Rumor is that if Peyton is available, Jets will try to get him... If this is true, Sanchez is done...

Or, Homo Rejectus. Their coach is Fatosaurus Rex. Their quarterback is an immature Sanchezopod.

further proof of my "Homo Dejectus" Jet fan species theory...here's a response by someone with access to a keyboard and a JI login...I have NEVER, not even in the first grade, seen a grammatical error so unbelievably singular as THIS...

So, you guys can't acknowledge whether another guy is considered good-looking? Seriously? COMMON!!!!

One of the funniest parts about the bleating of the Jets fans:*

Points scored 2010: 367
Points scored 2011: 377

Points per play 2010: 0.340
Points per play 2011: 0.366

Turnovers 2010: 21
Turnovers 2011: 34

Sanchez fumbles 2010: 9
Sanchez fumbles 2011: 10

Sanchez fumbles lost 2010: 1
Sanchez fumbles lost 2011: 8

Sanchez turnovers 2010: 18
Sanchez turnovers 2011: 26

Points allowed 2010: 304
Points allowed 2011: 363

So the team had an extra 13 turnovers, and Sanchez was responsible for 8 of those 13. The team scored more points per play than the year before, finished with 10 points more than the previous season, and it's the fault of Schottenheimer, the offensive line, and the wide receivers that the offense was "so bad", while Mark "8 additional turnovers, INCLUDING 7 ADDITIONAL FUMBLES LOST" Sanchez is all but blameless, and the defense allowed 59 points more over 16 games, but it's the offensive coordinator who has to go.

May the Jets and their fans remain forever clueless.

I'm still trying to figure out which Jests message board provides better entertainment...JI or TGG. Those people over on both of them are clueless and it makes me very happy.

Deus just decapitated the entire Jet fanbase....oddly, this increased the IQ levels in the surrounding Jersey area a thousand fold

Sanchez fumbles 2010: 9

To be fair, you could argue that Sanchez was exceptionally lucky in 2010 and exceptionally unlucky in 2011 with respect to fumble turnover rate. (The league-wide turnover rate on fumbles is about 50%.)

If that's what it takes to get the Jets to double down and make Sanchez the franchise QB for the foreseeable future, I'm willing to do my part in encouraging that behavior and suppressing anything that might make them think differently.

They really should just rename themselves the "Go F___ Yourselves." It sums up both the fanbase and organizational/coaching philosophy. Fans use that phrase so often on their boards it should fit right in.

Points Allowed is also a function of the offense taking backward steps and lack of depth at offensive line. Turnovers increased and time of possession decreased for the Jets in 2011.

Mangold's injury mid-season was a big deal and adds to the appreciation for the investment in the line that the Pats make to fill holes when guys go down. Dante Scarnecchia is also a very big part of the Pats success - he drives those guys to excel in all sorts of tough situations.

To stay on topic, it's great that the Jets did all they could in 2011 to keep this thread going. Thank you, Rex.

Absolutely.... Much like Brady tossing a dozen picks after his insane year of tossing only four, it's something that should be expected. That it's not something the Jets fans point out is an indictment on them, not on Schottenheimer or even Sanchez (since he's fumbling basically the same number of times each year). We all remember talking last season about how lucky the Jets had been with Sanchez picks getting dropped and fumbles getting recovered. Jets fans apparently don't have that long a memory.

If that's what it takes to get the Jets to double down and make Sanchez the franchise QB for the foreseeable future, I'm willing to do my part in encouraging that behavior and suppressing anything that might make them think differently.

The Jets should sign Sanchez to a 10 year deal at Brady/Manning money right now, since his ceiling is unlimited.

You mean his floor. Mark Sanchez' floor is unlimited. He's regressing at an alarming rate under Rex Ryan and Brian Schottenheimer.

Sanchez might make a good high school backup in a couple of years if this continues. But that would be okay. Then he can hit on the cute girls in homeroom and it would seem normal.

well...uh,no, goheels...according to super expert on all things Jet, JetFan1 aka Ray Ray 19, Sanchez has an "UNLIMITED CEILING!!!!" and is "ELITE!!!", while Brady is "IN THE TWILIGHT!!!"...go back in this thread to about page 55 or so and read forward...it's all in there....as well as "Sanchez will win multiple Bowls, probably more than Brady!!"...THAT is posted somewhere on these threads also.

The reason I insist on clarity in regards to this subject is that, given the merest crack that a green rat can sneak through,a JetFan1 or another of his ilk will come right back on this thread banging their green monkey drums and uttering even more over the top, break from reality preposterousness.
