Be sure to wear your helmet and the full array of protective gear because there's going to be HUGE traffic climbing on or jumping off the bandwagon based on the outcome Sunday night.

Since there are a fair amount on the board who think the Pats will lose, I wonder why there even going to watch the game.

Please remember, if you choose to jump there is NO RE-ENTRY!

Like the George Washington Bridge at rush-hour on a Friday evening. In the event of a loss, the Chicken Littles will be jumping off said bridge.

Most of them are already gone.

As a homer I confess that I and possibly many others may likely over react to the outcome. If we win, I'll be confident that the AFCE is ours given the remaining schedule. Were the unmentionable to happen, I'll be in despair. The loss to the Jets in Jan hit me even harder than the SB loss immediately thereafter. I cannot stand the Jets. I'll admit that over time the SB loss has more staying stinging power. But the aftermath of a Jets win Sunday night will cast a pall over the remaining games for me. It is what it is.

Problem is if you're a true fan of an NFL team you've never been on its bandwagon; you've been with it steadily win and lose, even though you enjoy the winning a lot more than the losing and some of the losing just makes you plain mad.

That said, it's possible to be a true fan of any team and also think that it might not be up to winning a particular game. So, it's possible to think that the Pats will likely lose on Sunday and also remain a true fan. If someone doesn't "get" that, then they're probably a bandwagon fan.

Never, ever, ever capitalize the vile word jets ...

Are you guys that soft as adults that you can't handle ever hearing flaws about this team? Like you guys get into this ridiculous protective mode. Do you guys really believe BB is still good at drafting? That his personal moves are still clever? His gameplans flawless? If you dont think he is wasting Brady then you guys are still caught in 2003. He went into the season with A safety situation that was embarassing, and initial worries have come to be true.

Remember Mike Shanahan was once considered a great coach, and im sure there were Broncos fans who still had hoped he had that magic in the end. But it never came. Too much control cost him in the end.

Tell me, who here has posted anything in this thread that takes those positions J Accuse?

I have been a Patriots fan literally as long as I can remember. This is my 40th year with season tickets and I have been to over 300 games in person. The last 11 years have been an embarrassment of riches - we are truly playing with the house's money. Hard for me to get down about things when I think about the big picture ...

Nobody can clinch anything Sunday night. Yes, the winner has a one game lead and a clear tiebreaker advantage. But there will still be seven games left. Lots can happen, particularly if a team starts to believe they have something wrapped up.

Attitude which affects ongoing game preparation and the unpredictable impact of injuries determine post season possibilities.

I am a fan win or lose, and i hate how people take having self awareness about real flaws makes one a bandwagon. I personaly think BB needs an outside personal guy because draft picks after draftpicks are being wasted to a point of it being comical. Take Brady off this team and the talent level would be horrendous. This is not 2008 where cassel was taking over an undefeated team and kead them to 5 losses against a weak schedule.

Making comments like-BB sucks-(insert player name here)sucks-the team is not going to win another game EVER are foolish. Those are comments of fair weather fans who I think need to go back in time and sit on those damn metal benches in old Foxboro stadium and watch the team lose almost every game they played in a season then maybe they will realize how Friggin spoiled they have been these past years.

Now that doesn't mean you can't have a opinion but show a little football intelligence and realize that this team is not going to win every game and it is not going to win a championship every year.

As with most coaches their perceived greatness has typically been connected to a great quarterback.

I instructed my attorney to designate Rex Ryan's wife's podiatrist as the heir to my vast fortune if the Patriots lose this game.

I have set up my account on TheGangGreen.com - the most complete source of New York Jets information to be activated if the Patriots lose. I set the application that automatically withdraws money from my checking account and social security checks in support of TheGangGreen.com - the most complete source of New York Jets information for life if the Patriots lose.

With my affairs in order, I bid you all adios if the Patriots lose Sunday night.
