Bruschi to Ochocinco: 'Join the system, buddy'

I am guessing that he posted the "WOW Amazing" tweet to show he is unselfish and happy for the team although he did not have a good game himself. But Teddy took it differently, as in why could not you contribute more, you are paid $5mm and you are awed by guys making 1/5 of your salary?

The other thing, Chad did himself no favors with the rooming with a fan stuff. Turned off guys like Troy, Teddy and Rodney; maybe BB himself privately.

I've got a lot of respect for what Bruschi and Harrison have to say, and if you want Heath Evans opinions, well you can have all of them as far as i'm concerned.

Yeah, I always tune in to hear Michael Irvin. You don't get it, do you. I don't listen to any of these clowns. I do catch Bruschi and Harrison on the rebound and find them very entertaining.

This is all you had to say than to issue ad hominem attacks on the guy. I was wondering why and now I see you mind.

I have thought Evans was a poser for a while, always saying nice things, hoping to hang on through politics, if not outstanding ability.

Now he has a job using his political and communication skills and good luck to him. i don't have to listen to him. He looks like he's going to jump through the screen... obviously manufacturing some sort of enthusiasm, or contrariness, whatever sells.

I happen to think Bru and Harrison say things that piss people off because that's what they think. It's consistent with the way they have always been. if people don't like it, that's fine, but outside of maybe a Pat Kirwan or Phil Simms (one of the few announcers that doesn't have me hitting the mute button) I have no use for them and don't watch pregame shows.

They are posers, manufacturing fake outrage or telling silly stories when they should be reporting on the game.

Any decent local radio announcer is better than every TV announcer combined.

I'm tired of hearing from Heath Evans and all those silly threads "oh, Heath Evans is available, let's get him".

He was a marginal player on the team. he wasn't a devastating blocker, he was good for catching the occasional five yard pass. He's obviously a talker, he talked himself into a Patriots legend from JAG.

Look at Aaron Hernandez and you see everything Evans might have aspired too and how lacking he was.

Great, there's another yacker on TV for me to ignore, that's fine.

Wooosh. Right over your head.

The point you missed was that it doesn't matter at all how good an athlete's former playing career was when it comes to analyzing the sport.

If everyone used your method, Bill Belichick would never have been taken seriously and Joe Namath would be considered the football genius.

Who the hell cares how well they played?

BTW, Heath Evans was too small to be an FB and too slow to be a HB, was not physically gifted and ran for only 600 yards TOTAL in his college career. Somehow he had the football smarts and instinct to last 10 years in the NFL when many far more physically gifted athletes never even got near that.

I'll listen to the smart guy.

It sure does to me. What analysis do I need from those clowns anyway, I've got patsfans. All they're doing is trying to sell soap through silly personality based fluff and fake arguments, you can have my share.

A player who's blood and guts and doesn't mind ruffling a few feathers, I want to hear, especially guys like Bru and Ridney who made everything we're hoping to get back to.

You can have Heath bar and Deion in his little fairy suit (whatever that commercial is) and the lot. The ex players they pick are farcical, as far as i'm concerned.

I don't watch them Shmessy, if you think they have great insight, by all means, enjoy.

Deion Sanders won multiple Super Bowls. You might want to be consistent with your argument, RayClay.

Poor Ray. Don't you understand? It's 2011. Sorry to break the news to you, but #54 and #37 retired a few years ago.

Bruschi and Harrison ARE the media clowns that sell soap now.

In fact ESPN, trying its best to wring as many days out of this controversy as possible, is trumpeting that Tedy B himself will be at the "University of Bristol" tomorrow to talk in deatil about all this with the radio guys. Tedy has to earn his money these days. He's doing a great job of it. But please, drop the purity and righteousness when it comes to his "motivation".

He was 250 lbs., plenty big to be a fullback. He just blocked small.

He was a good receiver, kind of a poor man's Larry Centers I guess, though much bigger.

I don't consider them clowns, but be my guess. You can follow tweets and faux controversy and deions tutu, I'll listen to the Patriots football guys that upset people, if that's OK with you.

Looks to me Bruschi is following tweets and creating faux controversy...

Listen to whomever you want. That's the beauty of having choices.

But Bruschi is an ESPN guy and Harrison is an NBC guy, and their loyalty is with their employers. You can choose to see that or not.

Harrison even threw Brady under the bus last year when Terrell Suggs questioned his manhood.

Their job is to garner ratings.

Bruschi is not on the field. When he was on the field he talked after he had something to talk about, they used to call that the Patriot way?

I understand they have jobs and when i come across something that strikes me as phony, I'll point it out, but i don't think they are phony about this at all.

Cut the BS, do your job. If you're having trouble, work twice as hard until you are on top of things.

Are you saying this is inconsistent with their beliefs? They're just making this attitude up for ratings? Because they sure had me fooled for a looong time.
