If you were actually watching the game, you'd realize that he was hit up high while he was stepping into the throw. The Chargers were around the 20-30 yard line with ~:09 seconds left in the half throwing "deep" to try and score a TD. Virtually every QB in the league would have a tough time converting that pass while having a 250+ DE on his chest.
I did watch the game. Rivers has been playing like crap for most of the game. He made a bad decision on that play because there wasn't a Charger in the area the ball went to.
Pro Football Focus just updated their top 100 players. Ryan Kerrigan is now the top rated player in the NFL and Kareem McKenzie has slipped from #1 to #4, Brady is still 75th.
I hope the chargers win.I dont want them coming to foxboro 0-1.
