Oh, no its McElroy.

The only thing that could make me wish failure on McElroy...has happened.

Ben Coates, Livingstone College.

Can we at least see the kid play before we rip him?

Danny Woodhead Chadron State College as well

We could probably fill up a whole front forum page with talented NFL players who came from WTF schools

I have no problem with that. But to say that those that have been complaining about not drafting pass rushers should be happy now is a bit much.
Not saying that you did. But some actually went there.

Why is it a bit much? People kept calling for Romeus, Herzlich, or a number of other OLBs in the 5th/6th round, yet since its Carter a few people decided to make comments that this is a stupid pick or hammer him because he's from a small school. Even though they didn't do it earlier, they still are bringing in a guy who they will need to let develop since he used to play with his hand down. The same transition and development would need to occur with any of the OLB prospects people were screaming for that could've been drafted in rounds 2-6. You wouldn't be making the comment that its a bit much if one of the bigger named players or one of the guys you preferred were drafted.

Mcelroy is brutal under pressure

could not win the big games in college.

if he did win 1.... it is overwhelmed by the many he did poorly in

Well McElroy and his hot GF head up to New Jersey. I'm sure it's all about the 'feet'. He's got great feets and so does she. Rexie can't wait to find out personally!

just a quick question about herzlich, is an OLB or ILB? and did BC use a 34 or 43 defence

Are we going to end this with a Florida Gator?

Which Gator is available yet?

Don't let BB see this. Next year's Pats draft could be all Junior College stars.

I seriously doubt anyone here would say that drafting Herzlich or anyone else at this point would mean that our pass rushing needs have been met. People call for them because they are players they have heard of and at this point in the draft there aren't many of those left.

I think you might be borderline-obsessed with a late round prospect.

Where there is a wasted pick there is also a Brandon Deaderick who played a good amount of time last year.
