Until you prove you can kill blitzes, like Brady and some great QB's have already proved they can, you're gonna get blitzed.

First Eagles game I watched all season and I was surprised that he literally never changed protection (unless I missed it) with the number of blitzes he was getting. Until he shows that he can change the protection, he will be getting a lot of blitzes going forward.

Congrats to the Vikings for manning up and not mailing it in after having been subjected to some ridiculous nonsense this season at the hands of Favre, Childress, and mother nature.

Frazier should be their head coach next year, you can tell the players like him. Maybe they try to make a play on getting someone like McNabb or Palmer at QB but Joe Webb has the #199 touch. They could swing back to where they thought they would have been this season.

Also glad to see some playoff ramifications out of what every Vick ball washer thought was going to be an easy win. Giants are justifiably out of the picture at this point. "Win and you're in" is the way it should be.

"Tune" into some football and kindly remove ur head from ur azz.

(1). He hasn't played a full season.
(2). Tonight's performance contributed significantly to his team LOSING.
(3). Go ahead and knock yourself out loving Vick if you want, Brady is head and shoulders beyond him as a player.
(4). You are awfully damn rude to talk to me like that when nothing I said to you was even remotely derogatory.

Patriots now have THE best record in the NFL, no longer tied with the Falcons.

Happy there's Tuesday night football tonight. Rooting for the Vikings to win and for Vick to have a horrible game. Though neither are likely to happen....
Wooooooooooooooo!

That is the least of which he is beyond him as.

1) can only judge the games he's played in.
2) I like to appreciate good football when i see it. Unlike some. When did I ever say vick was better than brady? Hell they aren't even equal. But the mvp is based on season not career. Vick deserves to be an mvp candidate get over it.
4) Just get tired of reading all the BS comments on here. The comment you made had ZERO to do with the game of football. This is a football forum. You were just talking about vick's **** being in the dirt now I'm hurting your delicate sensibilities...right.

I'm talking about Vick laughing and joking as dogs are being electrocuted and murdered for fun AND profit...WTF are YOU talking about?

OK, you don't like that I don't like Vick. Fine. And if you want to complain about BS comments by making a BS comment of your own, fine as well. But nobody here including yours truly suggested that MVP has anything to do with career vs. season performance. And I might emphasize for your reconsideration SEASON performance (not 12 games or whatever it's been that your boy has played this year, including tonight's game he had a big hand in pissing away). BTW, you didn't hurt my delicate sensibilities. People who act like jerks for no valid reason seldom do.

Congrats to the Vikes, their coach and Webb for an excellent performance. Webb should be given the opportunity to start in 2011. Why folks think Reid is a top coach always amazes me. Adjust your protection and offense in response to the blitz.

I really hope the Vikes give Webb a shot next year. The kid looks pretty good and he is fun to watch! Jerod Allen played a heckuva game. Congrats to any Vikes fans here! It's about time you guys had something good happen!

Hey -- I didn't watch the game, only tracked it on the interweb.

Curious -- did the announcers use the word "blueprint"? You know, like "the Vikings have shown the blueprint for stopping the powerful Vick-led Eagles offense."

Wasn't sure if that phrase was just reserved for when teams almost beat high-power Pats Os, or if announcers might think to use it when it legitimately applies, as it did last night.

I dont care that you don't like vick. But respect good football when u see it. Your comment was that he wasn't even a candidate for mvp based on that dislike, thats what i have a problem with.

You said brady was better than vick which is a pretty broad statement. It sounded like u were comparing their body of work. You can be injured and still win the mvp as long as you play very very well and 12 out of 16 isnt that bad.

Brady has had bad games. Peyton manning has had bad games. Joe montana has had bad games. See where im going here. Were you watching last year's playoff game against the ravens? Brady did us no favors in that game. Which proves only one thing all humans make mistakes. Next?

I agree I could've have been nicer about it. You probably just caught the brunt of it after hearing most patsfans here not talk about actual football when it comes to the mvp discussion. For that I apologize. But seriously? Dude your like the harry boy of this forum.

My ideal scenario for week 16:

Jags beat Texans
Titans beat Colts

Jags get 4 seed and play Ravens. Jags beat Ravens and come to Gilette. Chiefs beat Jets and goto Steelers. Chiefs beat Steelers and we beat Jags so AFCC game is Chiefs at Pats and we goto SBowl.

I know this is probably the least likely of any scenarios but it is my wish)

I dont care that you don't like vick. But respect good football when u see it.like last night's debacle?.. Your comment was that he wasn't even a candidate for mvp based on that dislike, thats what i have a problem with.

You said brady was better than vick which is a pretty broad statement.actually, that's a pretty NARROW statement and one that is CORRECT by any standard measure of quarterback play It sounded like u were comparing their body of work. if he was, there would be absolutely ZERO to argue about.Vick isn't even in the same quadrant of the galaxy as BradyYou can be injured and still win the mvp as long as you play very very well and 12 out of 16 isnt that bad.heh,so vote for Vick because he's put up inferior numbers and played less games, his team has a worse record and he's "not that bad"...uh...no thanks

Brady has had bad games. Peyton manning has had bad games. Joe montana has had bad games. See where im going here.No...those are all proven Super Bowl winners, two of whom are MULTIPLE winners.Vick has done exactly WHAT? Were you watching last year's playoff game against the ravens? Brady did us no favors in that game. Which proves only one thing all humans make mistakes.I was at that game.Brady had three broken fingers and a bad foot to go along with generally being beat up, had no Welker and had to come back from 21 points down almost immediately with O'Brien calling delayed draws to Faulk over and over.Which proves the TEAM had an overall bad game.Match Brady's all time playoff record with ANY QB who has ever played Next? I don't know...what other near insane propositions do you intend to utter?

I agree I could've have been nicer about it. the ol' "I'm sorry I ran you over with my car..I shoulda used the brakes" excuse...nice...next you tell us the dog ate your homework...oh wait...Vick murdered that dog You probably just caught the brunt of it after hearing most patsfans here not talk about actual football when it comes to the mvp discussion.reading comprehension is NOT a forte I see For that I apologize. But seriously? Dude your like the harry boy of this forum.and you're like the Andy boy...oh wait...he's the head coach of the Eagles....hmmmm..curious...

Vick's performance last night exposed numerous flaws in any MVP discussion regarding him.End of story.

I'll respond because I'm bored.... Your saying absolutely nothing here. He played well enough to be second. It's pretty simple. Even you can understand it. If you think that vick shouldn't even be on the ballot your a moron. Mvp is based on football not off-field issues. They should have no effect on on-field awards.

I wasn't even talking to you so, but since you injected yourself into the discussion what do you think of those asian people out there who enjoy dog as a delicacy? Because that's all this is about. Has nothing to do with football.

Edit: That excuse-fest you laid down for TB was epic. I hope you don't dislike peyton manning because you sound like his publicist. BRADY HAD A BAD GAME.

you can't respond because you have NO stats that back your flimsy premise up. YOU printed that saying Brady is a better candidate for MVP than Vick is too broad of a statement.THAT is the extent of your football related input.I replied with my football point of view that this statement is erroneous. You jump into another dimension accusing me of ,as you put it,you think that vick shouldn't even be on the ballot your a moron.. I NEVER said that or insinuated any such thing.

as far as your racist followup statement about Asian people...I'll stay away from that, thank you very much.

Sounds like you have some major issues to address yourself.
