As I said earlier in the thread

If you think the Patriots are an elite team who will be battling for home-field advantage, you root for the Dolphins.

If you think the Patriots are an average/good team who will be battling the Dolphins for 2nd place in the AFC East, then the Steelers.

I'll be rooting for the Dolphins.

If the refs see a fumble at least watch then pile just in case its challenged. Some of these rules are just dumb. By the way roethlisberger cannot hold on to the ball.

ROFL My wife just said Roethlesburger had ball security issues in the offseason too. Hahahaha

Bills just scored a TD, now down 34-31 to the Ravens.

Carolina scores a TD with 1:59 remaining to tie SF.

Cleveland goes up 30-10 over New Orleans.

Henne pass incomplete on 4th and 6.

Tampa Bay 1st and 10 at Rams 21 with a minute to go, down by 5.

Ah well, at least the Dolphins fall to 3-3.

Still, dissapointing.

30 seconds left, Laurinaitis stops Mike Williams at 1-yard line.
Bucs down by 5, 1st and goal at the one.

This. They were so eager to give the TD to the Steelers that they didn't even bother looking at the pile. And I'm not so sure about that rule. There was no definitive evidence of either team recovering the ball. So they place it at the 1? If the Dolphins recovered, it's a touchback and they get the ball. If the Steelers recovered, it's a touchdown. If neither team recovered, say it bounces out of bounds or something, it's a touchback for the Dolphins. I don't understand how it goes to the 1 though.

Freeman touchdown pass to Cadillac Williams; Bucs take the lead with ten seconds left in the game over St Louis. Too bad nobody was there to witness it.

Carolina lining up for game winning FG.

The NFL officials are becoming as questionable as anything the NBA puts out.

Since the NFL has been so cavalier with rule changes - it's time to revisit "touchdown" rules because the refs robbed the Dolphins.

Suggs doesn't look like he's getting the last laugh.

Wow Buffalo going into OT with the big bad Ravens

I'm not really sure how to change the rules to avoid what happened today. The problem in that game wasn't the rules, it was that the referee made an atrocious call by ruling on the field that Roethlisberger scored a TD.
