Vikings vs. Jets Thread

that drive is all on brett, two bad throws for sure 1st downs

By my count Favre missed three open receivers that possession.

Vikings really need to ride AP on this drive. Aside from that one stop just now, he's been gaining some quality yards for them.

Too bad they didn't listen to me.

And here we go with the love/hate relationship everyone has with Favre. He had no excuse underthrowing that seam pass.

Marty Shottenheimer was on Sirius a few years ago and said that he always hoped to see a player in pain when grabbing his knee because that indicates that the injury isn't a ligament tear. If he is not rolling around in pain he is likely to have torn a ligament. And that was told to him by a team doctor.

I have never torn my ACL but a co-workder did and he said he just felt a pop and wasn't in pain. But he couldn't push off on it in an angle.

So then in a case like Brady he must have had both the "painful" hit to the knee as well as the less painful ligament tear?

yep, the Moss factor, you either score very fast, or you go three and out fast too

Yes it is but I think Gruden said Moss intentionally tackled Cromartie because Cromartie had him beat, but Rob was trying to point out that he tackled Cromartie because he tripped on his leg.

Exactly. Sorry I didn't say it as clear as you did.

The Patriots led the league in TOP in 2009 so your theory needs some work.

I guess, and that was my first thought when I heard him say it, because I do believe it was a few days after Brady went down. And Brady was clearly in pain.

Can't speak from experience.

Hmm long bomb to RM that looked familiar.

Vikings need to learn how to tackle and just not hit.

by grudens count sanchez has had a lot of confident throws

wonder how many confident incompletions he has

nice d on the reverse

So are the Vikes going to play soft coverage now?

If the Vikes can stop them in the red zone again, they'll win the game.

man, that hole has been big for LdT all night.
