Flacco looks to be done for the first half with an impressive 5 for 17 for 23 yards and an INT. By these standards, Flacco lit up the Jets' defense on Monday.

He looks like a BEAST!!!

Granted, the Bengals' offense hasn't been that impressive either. Doesn't speak to much about the Pats' defense although the Bengals are killing drives with penalties more than production.

Well, at this point you can say the Patriots defense performed better than the Ravens defense is in the first half.

What a lot of the early games underscore is paper coronations or crownings...individually be it players or coaches or teamwise...are never more than hype. And too many mediots, fans and players/organizations are paying too much attention to hype and spin. The only crowns that matter are earned. There is a lot of parity in the NFL these days, good - bad - and indifferent. Consistency, let alone consistent dominance, is rare.

Yeh, Jason Garrett is pretty terrible. 3 very good running backs, an elite WR and TE, and still can't get anything going. Though I think they've neglected their OL to an extent.
