No secret that Brady missed badly on about 6 balls that I can think of Sunday: his first 2 INT's, and at least four wide open receivers. Not all those passes were bad for the same reason, but at least twice I think I did see something.
When the SD pass rush started to close in, the rushers did not go directly to where Brady was standing, but instead a yard or two to his right or left, especially to his right. They seemed to be anticipating his pocket movement, and wanted to take that away more than actually get to him.
It seemed to throw him off his natural step and stride. The 2 or 3 times he badly underthrew receivers on the sidelines is when I noticed it. He started to step into the throw and then didn't take a normal full step, leading to an underthrow.
