1.Welker
2.Lloyd
3.Gaffney
4.Branch
5.Edelman
6.Slater
Cuts will be Stallworth and Ebert (he'll probably be signed to PS)
I have the Pats going with 6 WRs:
Lloyd
Welker
Gaffney
Branch
Stallworth
Edelman (because of versatility)
Ebert to the PS.
IMHO, this is the best option at this time.
Besides sucking the guy did nothing wrong. I am however glad that this means they have better options on this team.I never understood the Ochocinco hate around here. I wish him the best, and it sucks it didn't work out for the both sides.
Shmessy, are you actually cutting Slater or just not counting him as a WR?

I wasn't commenting on why the Patriots did it, Rob. I figure that they felt Johnson wasn't going to get it, or that the new additions were going to beat him out even if he did, so they were letting a respected veteran go out looking for a job after they couldn't get anything for him. With regards to "nonsensical", I was commenting on the glee of posters over a guy getting cut in early June, for no reason other than them wanting him cut.

I wonder if the New Jersey Green Puke will sign him.
Hahahah I was listening to this too and though about posting but it's not confirmed. They just said that he didnt have the Patriots wide receiver tag under his twitter profile any longer. But, they did say they spotted him leaving Gilette, we'll see
Best of luck to the unemployed black guy. He'll do great this year with another team that doesn't run a complex offense or runs something similiar to what he did in Cincy. He won't be the man, nor will he have to. That's why I think he'll be just fine. He also can pick whatever team he wants. I will be one of the ones rooting for him next year. Good luck Chad.
Go Celtics!!!!!!!!!!!!
he did try to learn the system and just couldn't and he towed the company line
That may lead to a lesser number of WRsNot only at WR, but my Lord- - - did you see what the depth is at TE now?????
Gronk
Hernandez
Fells
Scaife
See ya Ocho, it just never worked out.
That leaves Stallworth, Branch, Edelman, and Ebert competing for two spots. Go Binky Ebert!
