As the PFW guys speculated - when they were clearly stating they were speculating. PR guy Stacy James isn't always told the truth so he doesn't have to reveal anything they don't want revealed. That is probably whom Howe talked to earlier. He may have been getting his eyes checked as part of an exit physical...

Guess the explosive diarrhea story that I was running with was nothing but a ruse. If Schefter says it, you can pretty much bank on it being true. Personally, I would have rather Johnson be released AFTER training camp, but that's just me.

I think he'll end up going to a team with an "simpler" playbook... so I'm guessing Rams, Vikings, or Jags offhand.
