Re: Mark Anderson Signs with the Bills for 4 Years, $27.5 million; $8 million guarant
You're plain nuts. I've been a Pats fan since day one and a season ticket from the 70's into the 90s. You actually think a Barfalo jagoff could walk up to a "window" buy a ticket and sit with a whole bunch of other Barfalo jagoffs in Sullivan Stadium? There's what YOU think it was like and there was what it was really like, and what you're blabbing about NEVER happened. Schaefer Stadium was a craphole that barely attracted 20,000 Pats fans a game during a season...you'd have to be NUTS to travel from any distance to sit in that stadium. If you happened to make that mistake, you paid...dearly...very unfriendly place for opposing fans as the police blotter from those years demonstrate.
The Patriots are one of the ORIGINAL AFL franchises...Barfalo didn't even have a damned pee wee team in those days. You run your mouth like everything pre-Parcells was all Barfalo...moron.It's always big mouth know nothings like you that show up like spring "daffydils" and disappear like rotten squash by September. What Barfalo did in a week three game is inconsequential, as the Patriots went on to play in the Super Bowl...you do get this, don't you?? oh wait...nah, you don't...you're too ignorant.
95%? Really?
So 95% of the folks on this board supported the "we'll move to Hartford" threats? Remember who the owner was then?
Come on man, call a spade a spade.
Look, the Pats are the class of the AFCE and have been for years, there's no disputing that. Five SBs in 11 years is amazing, and NE fans should be proud of the team's many accomplishments since 2001.
However, let's not pretend that before Bill Parcells arrived an opposing fan could not walk up to the box office on game day and buy a choice seat and be surrounded by fans of his own team.
The point?
If a team with the Pats' history can have a run of success like we have seen this decade, then any team in the NFL can do the same with the right mix of ownership, coaching, and hitting on a late round draft pick.
