Hannah Storm on ESPN Today Claims Patriots Filmed Rams SB Practice

ESPN is owned by Disney. Disney letting ESPN spew false information and attempt to make it seem an innocent man is guilty. How the **** can Disney allow this?

Her statement didn't leave it up for debate whether she believed they filmed practices, she stated her opinion on what others would think of such practice. then again any first year law student could probably get that statement thrown out, but getting ESPN to owe up to the numerous falsehoods they spread would make a damning case.

So, perhaps Kraft can go after the totality of offenses rather than the specific instance? I've heard similar lies spread numerous times.

Kraft isn't going to do ****. The guy has been all talk thus far. Why would anybody expect that to change?

No you are wrong. The "some would say" is in reference to whether or not taping a practice is cheating. She stated that the taping was "certainly" part of the Patriots' history. That is stating the taping as a fact, not conjecture.

but the patriots did tape. that is a fact

That said, Warner having to give us the trophy last year was a nice cherry on top of the FU sundae we fed the rest of the country.

I also love the fact that what was a 40-second thing for the Seahawks turned into a 2+-minute humiliation of Warner. :D

"And some would say, Hannah, that you are a stupid *****." - NashuaPats

It's so easy to speak that way.

She said taped practices. Stop trying to spin it.

its wishy washy...we did tape games, we admitted it. i understand how it was said in context of practice but its not defamation....if you want to think thats defamation go ahead

If the Patriots taped practices then she screwed people to get where she is in the sports media business.

You mean " some would say she screwed her way to the top", right??

Again, stop trying to spin it. Teams are allowed to tape games.

twist what..what are you talking about. we are talking about whether this was defamation. it wasnt

first thing. libel is written defamation. slander is spoken defamation.

second. she didnt say they cheated, she said "some would say". so no, there is no defamation there.

espn's only problem with this whole thing is they should only allow people who know what they are talking about to speak on air

No.

The second part of that sentence - - "that DOES qualify as cheating, which is certainly something that is part of the Patriots' history" which is not attached to the "some would say".

No.

The second part of that sentence - - "that DOES qualify as cheating, which is certainly something that is part of the Patriots' history" which is not attached to the "some would say".

Like i said before. taken as a whole, you can easily argue that she said video taping (not necessarily practice) is part of patriots history...and that is a fact...so if you dont agree on that then ok but thats what it is

twist what..what are you talking about. we are talking about whether this was defamation. it wasnt

She outright stated that they taped opposing teams' practices.

There is no parsing you can try to do that changes that. But nice try.

The English language is the English language.

She's saying that some would say it is "cheating".

However, she was stating as fact that the Patriots taped opposing teams' practices.

It is what it is.
