No you are wrong. The "some would say" is in reference to whether or not taping a practice is cheating. She stated that the taping was "certainly" part of the Patriots' history. That is stating the taping as a fact, not conjecture.
That said, Warner having to give us the trophy last year was a nice cherry on top of the FU sundae we fed the rest of the country.

first thing. libel is written defamation. slander is spoken defamation.
second. she didnt say they cheated, she said "some would say". so no, there is no defamation there.

The second part of that sentence - - "that DOES qualify as cheating, which is certainly something that is part of the Patriots' history" which is not attached to the "some would say".
