Trade Moss

His "old" self completed passes 60% of the time, his "new" self completes them 65% of the time. Don't be delusional, there's a huge dropoff in defense from then and now.

The delusional one is you. Completion percentage??? That's all you got?
He's got "all world Randy" and Wes and all he's added is 5% to his completion percentage? That's all??????
How many 4th qtr comebacks in the past 2 years??
How many times has this offense been shut out in the 2nd half of games over the past 2 years?
What do Brady's passing numbers look like 1st half vs 2nd half of games over the past 2 years?
When is the last time this QB lead this team to a come from behind win on the road?
When is the last time this QB held a 2nd half lead on the road by controlling the clock and moving the chains??
Despite the fact that he has high profile "toys" in this offense they cannot close out games against good teams.
This is the same QB who lead this team to 3 SB wins??? No!

Simply put - Tom Brady no longer efficiently and effectively manages a game
He no longer plays with that mindset.
He's fallen in love with the glitz and glamor of toss to Moss and it has hurt this team repeatedly over the past few years.

It's embarrassing how some fans can't be honest about what's going on.
The experience and the talent is on offense with this team.
Inexcusable for them to continue their 2nd half impotence in these games.
(Look at their numbers against the Bengals 2nd half - hardly impressive)
Time for Mr. Brady to return to his roots and LEAD this team.

Rhody, you are a loud Moss hater but Brady is NOT the problem, nor is Moss. You put this defense in it's current state (and that of last year) on the 03/04 teams and don't change Brady or the offense and they don't win a superbowl.

This thread sucks and people are looking for someone to blame, obviously. I dare anyone on this board to name 1 play maker on our defense. Our D is horrible right now. Any NFL QB looks like a hall of famer against our scrubs. We aren't winning anything with this crew. The O is not the problem, although a real NFL RB would be nice. Wake the eff up. The D was the difference in our SB teams.

so Moss is an expensive decoy? I have seen him make many a play with two defenders all over him. I think if you don't target Randy 4-5 times a game deep you might as well cut him. It didn't work out Sunday, big deal, sun will come up and we'll still win double digit games.

Tom Brady isn't a skinny kid from Michigan driving a beat-up old pickup truck anymore.

For him, life is about $10,000 Armani suits, $50,000 Rolex watches, limousines, private jets, drinking Vitamin Water and hanging out with skinny little Victoria's Secret models all night long.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm embarrased to admit that I live in the same state as this "Rhody" pat...

Bro, your talking about Moss in his prime, and Culpepper couldn't hold Brady's jock. If Moss was in his prime, he'd have hauled in more than 2 of the 9 passes Sunday against the Jets. The dude is getting old.

Yet Culpepper was coming off a MONSTER season. Don't blame his injury on his downfall either, he was playing terrible before that happened.

Moss is still a beast out there. He had a BAD game by his regard, with a couple drops. He had an occasional bad game in his prime too. Don't act like he was unable to get open because he wasn't. Moss wasn't the problem. It was the playcalling / Brady playing poorly (hard concept for Pats fans to grasp...)

Depends what the return would be...

More draft picks? No thanks. A RB or DE/OLB? Yes, please.

He is absolutely delusional. Look at the targets, if Brady was forcing throws to anyone last season, it was Wes Welker. Welker was targeted more then 30 more times then Moss but Rhody (and other Moss haters) just have it against Moss.

Can you actually refute any of his points or do you only have ad hominem attacks? Has Brady's late performance not been weak lately?

His "points" have been refuted ad nauseam.

In Week 1, Brady was phenomenal. In Week 2, Brady had a bad game. Neither were the result of Randy Moss. If we trade Moss, this offense is absolutely crippled.

Oh, so you can't. Here it is again.

The last time Brady pulled a victory out of his behind was the first game against the Bills last season, sorry but it's true. Brady today is NOT the Brady of old.

How is all of this a product of Randy Moss?

I never said it was, nor do I think trading Moss will solve all our problems, but I do think it's obvious to anyone not drink TB12 Kool-Aid that Brady is part of the problem.

My bad. I had emoney on ignore and I had to double check it to see that you were talking to him and not me. As for Brady, he was part of the problem this past weekend. He made some bad throws in the second half. However, most of the team played poorly in the second half. Brady's one of the top quarterbacks in the league right now.

Rhody's points were all to support trading Moss because he is the cause of any perceived offensive problem. So either follow the damn conversation or don't but in.
