It would take a lot to make it work. How many of those cities have had multiple teams fail there? LA just doesn't seem to care. Not sure how many teams they need out in Cali anyway. If anything, the Bills would move to Toronto, not LA. But I don't think they'll be moving any time soon.

And as far as the wishful thinking goes, the Bills were decent this past year. The QB discontinuity hurt them more than the number of guys on IR, who were mostly backups anyway. The fact that Trent Edwards will be given a chance as the full-time starter next year should help. Not to mention the fact that the Bills have holes, but those holes could pretty easily be filled with a couple free agents and draft picks. They probably won't be good enough to beat NE next year, but they'll be much more competitive.

This is the year for the Bills to start to challenge the Pats for the AFC East crown. 17 Buffalo players on IR, most of them starters and still the Bills went 7-9 with a rookie QB and RB. The Bills are young, the Pats are old... time to pass the torch my friends.

You're "there's nowhere left to go but down crap" is funny.
The Pats could drop three or four pegs after this season...and still have more than enough to paste the pathetic clubs in the AFC East that try to pass themselves off as football teams on Sunday.
The JEST, 'lphins, and Jills combined for what, 12 wins this year?

You're forgetting one thing.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

I actually had the Bills picked as a wild card before the 07 season. They have a favorable schedule outside of the Division which should help in 08. If they can pick up another receiver so teams cannot sit on Evans, a CB to help solidify their pass defense and another solid O-Lineman I think they can make a run at it. Levy was doing a really good job I'm not sure about who's taking over.

The Fins and Jets should also be better considering what they were in 07 and their draft position but they have so many holes I don't think either is a real threat until 09 if they do everything right.

I wouldn't be shocked if they Pats lose a game or two in the division in 08 but the odds of anybody taking the division from them is slim to none.

And you'd be the type of scumbag that is wrong with America. Let's move a team that has sold out 90% of their games despite not making the playoffs in 8 years. Then we'll move then to a city that lost not 1 but 2 NFL teams because of lack of interest. Pathetic.

As for the Bills next season, I fully expect a winning season and a serious playoff challenge. However, I'[m not nuts enough to say they will win the East and pretty much concede the fact that we lose 2 to the Pats. But with the Jets and Fins twice, plus the Raiders and NFC West, it's hard not to be excited. God, it's be a long 8 years.

Well the Bills accounted for more than half of those. It's amusing here how many people just assume 6 wins in the AFC East when this year was really the one year that's happened.

I'm not sure when winning the Super Bowl has been associated with having bad seasons. Didn't the Colts get 13 wins or something like that after winning the SB? Sounds like a terrible season to me.

If the Bills can stay relatively injury-free then they should be able to fill almost all of their holes in the offseason. I can understand why nobody here would be scared of them, but I can't understand the complete lack of concern. Well, maybe I can considering who's doing the talking.

I think its about time that someone does Challenge the Pats in the AFC East. Bills have the "potential" Jets have the "coaching" and the Fins have the Tuna to right their ship. Its going to be a tough division here in a couple years, but until the Jets get a franchise QB as well as the Fins, they are both second fiddle.

I give the Bills the best chance to compete in the AFC East, just because of their young players and lack of over priced older talent. They should be able to compete now.

The Bills have ranked in the lower half of scoring and defense for forever. You haven't had a play-off season since Doug Flutie was your QB (maybe you can convince him to come out of retirement?) and the last time you had a competent QB it was the inexcusably immobile Drew Bledsoe under center.

Better hope Edwards is the real deal, because Lost-man isn't taking you to the post-season.
We're not worried because you haven't shown anything in the past 5 years worthy of being worried about.

We only had one QB in between Bledsoe and Edwards, and that was Losman. He started to come on in 2006, but thanks to Wilfork's elbow we have upgraded at the position with Edwards. Like I said before, we won't win the AFC east, but the Pats will not sweep us again this year. The Bills are going to make the Pats sweat for the AFC east.

Lost-man... ha ha ha! How funny and original!!!
