Life time 49er fan here. i have been banned from our forums for sticking up for alex. our fans seem to not share my belief that he still has a lot of room to grow and has not reached his ceiling. these last few weeks watching keap play have been nothing more than emberising. the kid looks like hes having a seizure at the los before every play, he fumbles, runs too much, and cant read a defense. still our coach seems to think he gives us the best chance to win. i personally think its just because hes cheaper. god forbid we pay a qb 7 mill lol. if im going to continue to enjoy foot ball this year i need you guys to make keap look like the retard he is. please whoop our butts so we can get this stupid keap experiment over with. this is not the time to rebuild an offense! please!!! i beg you! put us out of our misery!:beersign:

Wow you coming to the opposing fans board and pleading for a whooping is probably the lowest I've seen a fan go, you should be ashamed of yourself and I can see why you've been banned.

This guy is a moron, and he doesn't represent us. Although there are a lot of idiotic SF fans out there....

Overall, Kaep looks like a star passing the ball. With his arm strength and accuracy, I'd like to see him do the things Brady does in NE, albeit in a much more athletic way. I DON'T want to see us kill him by running the option.

that's more the response i was looking for. unfortunately keap has a totally different style. im disappointed that our team is turning into a college looking offense. this is smiths 1st year in the same offense. he has learned a new playbook every year. one thing our fans dont seem to care about is that joe montana himself thinks harbaugh is making the wrong decision. alex has shown huge improvement, and has remained so loyal that it kills me to see him thrown under the bus like this. exp since keap has gone down hill every game since he started. i can only imagine what bills going to do with him now that he has some good film.

Well 11back I reckon the Pats are going to give you your wish.

It's going to be so ugly that your HC will have to back down and reinstate Alex.

Felt a bit bad for Smith at the time, he gives 100%, gets you into the post season and, if anything, was even better this year. Kaep may be the future but I think Harbaugh got mesmerized by "potential".

As a Pats fan having to deal with the way BB (Bill Belichick) runs his operation..when we here that the opposition says..."Montana thinks" we think of what BB might do if let's say.."Steve Grogan" were to comment about the Drew Bledsoe Tom Brady situation 12 or so years ago. I can hear BB saying, I'm going to go with the best players that will give us the best opportunity to win."...plain and simple. Good coached couldn't care less what the outside influences have to say...Tells me Harbaugh is a good coach

I'm an idiot? You're the one who:
-wants our team to lose this week to prove your own point
-thinks the West Coast Offense is still alive (it isn't, only its concepts have been assimilated to other offenses)
-thinks Alex Smith was a star. I'm assuming because of his stats. Harbaugh majorly handcuffed Alex though by not making him do anything he couldn't do. That produced great efficiency but hardly any kind of passing game for opponents to worry about.
-thinks the public, politically correct opinion means anything from someone who is well known and well liked in public (speaking of Joe Montana)
-cares about Alex's loyalty when winning is all that matters
-thinks Kaepernick is garbage who has seizures when he throws, but arguably the best QB coach in the league scouted him, chose him, and supports him 100%. If you know the back story, Harbaugh personally made Kaepernick his 'baby' from a scouting perspective, so Baalke let him draft Kaep.
-thinks we want to get rid of Alex Smith to save money when we have consistently extended bigger contracts to our young talented guys, and we are barely under the cap as we speak.
-can't even spell Kaepernick's name right. It's Kaep if you want to shorten it, not "keap".

    You are the idiot.

I grant you that a constant pistol offense does not fly with me unless we change our running game to a zone blocking scheme. Without getting too much into the pistol formation, that's what it would take for it to be a balanced formation for us. I happen to like the pistol, and I have for a lot of years. I don't like us using the option all game with Kaepernick though. That's going to get our rocket arm, super accurate QB killed. If it was just a Tim Tebow, I wouldn't care.

we live 6 hrs away from San Fran but my dad my brother and i go to almost all the home games. they are starting to get on the keap (don't give a **** how you spell it) banbwagon and are trying to convince me too but it isn't going to happen. all you guys have wanted Alex gone since draft day so i understand why you like keap. im sure you also liked hill, rattaey, t smith, and im sure you were probably one of the many to chant we want carr. your an idiot. we are a better team with Alex and you underestimate his ceiling. he is going be a pro bowler in the future and i hope its as a 49er. the more film teams get on keap the worse he looks. did they have play clocks in Nevada? if so i cant tell by watching him now. and your right. he dose look like hes having a seizure trying to get the offense lined up. trade keap.

Morons live everywhere. For instance, this guy has immediately taken up a stance like I have hated Alex Smith since he was drafted and would have preferred a slew of awful backups like Shaun Hill, Nate Davis, and Tim Rattay over him. I never said anything like that. I think Alex Smith is a solid QB, and I think Kaep has better talent than that. Period.

Check out the thread I started. Your fellow fan Marvin just told me my opinion was wrong. How can an opinion be wrong?

I hope Patriots fans can see that the op here is a moron and an embarrassment to 49ers fans. Who roots for their team to lose and their QB to fail no matter what the circumstances? I don't care if Harbaugh is our starting QB as long as the team wins. Pathetic excuse for a 49er fan this guy is.

A lot of people have weird man crushes on Alex Smith on our forum. You would be floored by the constant and ridiculous debates about Alex Smith. That was before Kaep was starting now it is a new level of absurd.

Personally I don't mind Alex Smith but think Kaep gives us the best chance of ending up with an elite QB like you guys got.

Anyway this will be a tough game and probably the game of the year at least for the 49ers.

Hopefully the op gets banned from your forum as well. lol

If this was another board and some "Pats fan" was saying something similar my first thought would be that's a Jet's fan not a Pat's fan.
