Ok, so Im on the chargers main board. And someone posted a thread called "what happend to the pats?" It's basically a thread designed for their members to create ficticious excuses that the pats fans will come up with after San Diego wins.

So I posted stating that "all is fair in love and war" and "what would be the excuses if NE wins the game. Made a couple of examples regarding the reffing and something creative about spygate... My posts and subsequent responses to my post were deleted and I was warned by the staff...

No, for the most part you haven't been - and some of your stuff has actually been level-headed and even funny... which is why I gave you a warning about it first

However, be honest with yourself - you know quite well that "posting the opposing view" when the subject involves the two teams it does is stirring it up and being antagonistic. You can do that within limits in the Smack Shack... but not at all in General Discussions.

You may not agree with it, but there it is.

The censorship is downright ugly on the Chargers board. You're being nice because I know for a fact they don't allow any pats fan to support their team on the main board.

You also have to be careful in the Smack Shack. Unlike our board, you can't even get carried away with solid smack in there either. What's the sense of even posting on a board where you can't even support your team? They should be welcoming solid football talk and debate in the huge game. Yet all they want to do is talk amongst themselves about how great the Chargers are, block their ears and say "nah, nah, nah....I can't hear you!"

dont waste your time at a charger board. last year after the bolts lost i signed up at a charger board and i was banned before i made any posts lol.

I haven't had too many problems voicing my opinions there. It was this thread only where any action has ever been taken against me. They've been pretty openminded about what I've had to say, even though many of their fans are completely dellusional (not unlike our boards I guess)

I haven't been on many other boards... lurked here for a while and been on the raiders board a bit, but, you're right. Opposing fans get axed in a hot minute as soon as they start in with BS banter. A lot of Pat's fans, however come onto the CMB and just pretty much call it like it is. Some people can't handle that... the fact that your posts are getting deleted and then having a "moderator" tell you that your posts aren't all that bad is shyte.

i dont know about that post but i noticed you calling a fan a moron in another thread, that might get you banned lol

it is a heavily moderated forum, its ran by the NFL and that is the way they want it. sometimes it can be lame i agree but i wouldn't trade it for most of the forums out there that let trolls run around rampant starting pissing wars back and forth.

Personally I wish this board was quicker to get rid of opposing fans. I don't blame the moderators, I just think there are way too many trolls and it's hard to keep up.

If opposing fans contribute something, that's cool, but most just troll around and ruin threads. It makes a lot of stuff unreadable. But I think the mods are doing what they can to improve it, so that's good.
