2) Randy Moss is starting to show his true colors.
3) Shame on Rodney Harrison for making me ever take sides with Brian Billick. I hate the Ravens, but Harrison is classless for talking smack to him on their sideline. Billick's reaction was hilarious.
4) Someone in a Ravens uniform should have punched Bart Scott.
5) The Ravens' defense made a million excuses after a loss as usual.
6) Someone needed to tell Kyle Boller the Ravens lost after the game. If he didn;t pepper in an occational "we came up a little short", you would have sworn they won if you watched his comments. The look on his face told you they just won the Superbowl. At least the Ravens' defense wanted to win. Boller was happy to just be there.

It's not always going to be a 56-0 blowout.
Every good team has to win ugly a few times during the course of the season. Hell every team usually loses too, I hold no delusions. So long as they win the Superbowl, I don't care if they go 0-4 in the next 4.
I was more impressed with the last 2 wins, especially the MNF game, than I was watching the Dallas beatdown. Championship teams win those games; pretenders don't. Last year, and the year before, the Patriots lost more of those games than they won.
You talk ball when someone talks with you, so here I am, talking to you. Would you be impressed or embarrassed by the MNF game? A game your team had NO business winning, but in the 4th quarter, held the opposing team to 4 yds of offense, and drove the field twice to take the lead. Impressive? Championship caliber drives? I think so.
An analogy, The Patriots winning on MNF would be akin to the Steelers, had they pulled out the Jets game in OT. Guaranteed there'd be no "blueprint" and "what's wrong with them" talk. Gritty, gutty, doing what it takes to win, that's what they'd be saying.
Will the Patriots go undefeated? I dunno and I really don't care. All I know is, they beat the Steelers on Sunday, they lock up a bye, and if Indy loses, they lock up HFA. To me, that's infinitely more important. Winning 2 games when you played like complete **** to me is a sign of character, not a sign of "the sky is falling"

I would be pleased with the victory in that you can chalk it up in the W column. I would be happy that your team threw the winning TD pass. I would not be impressed though honestly. Why? You were stuffed TWICE on 4th and 1, but escaped defeat due to bizarre events. Championship teams do not get stuffed on 4th and 1 on 2 consecutive plays. The Ravens for all their faults wanted the game more at that point.
Your defense did shut down the Baltimore offense in the 4th quarter. The coaches made the adjustments to stop the Raven's running game, but it seemed a bit desperate. The Pats were forced to put 8 in the box and blitz their safeties. The play calling needed to be all out to stop the run. I would be concerned with this. A balanced team could have created serious problems.

I don't think the sky is falling, and I don't think there is a blueprint. A blueprint would imply the pats can be beaten by scheme. What I observed was a old and slow linebacking group. That has nothing to do with scheme. I also saw Moss slipping back into his old ways. The guy can be beaten mentally. His physical skills are unmatched, but his mental toughness remains a question mark.
Don't get me wrong. The Pats are still a very good team and fairly complete. However, they do have flaws like all other teams, and some of those flaws were exploited the past 2 weeks.

Well stated. I find it interesting that so many jump on the "Pats have problems" bandwagon without giving credit to the opposition for playing their best games of the season.

I'm not really jumping on any bandwagon. I have maintained all year that your defense is overrated and plays with the benefot of being paired with your offense.
The Ravens probably played their best game of the season. Not sure about the birds as I haven't seen them play enough this year.

It's interesting, as the defense has always carried this team. We don't know what we have for a defense, which is interesting that it should be a question mark this late in the season. What we do know is that it could show up big time in December and January. In my mind, the jury remains out on this aspect, as they've got the players and the history. We shall see.

2) Randy Moss is starting to show his true colors.
Moss had one ball he should have caught that he didn't and Ed Reed should have been whistled for interference on the play down the sideline.

I give Billick full kudos that was a riot. But I find nothing wrong with what Rodney did and I've seen many Steelers do much worse, IE Joey Porter for one.

I agree. They have been overated for a very long time. They clutch and grab and when they finally get called they whine.

He's tall, he has a strong arm...

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

The Receivers/Tight Ends the Patriots have aren't godlike. They can't CATCH THE BALL! Watson drops an easy TD pass! Was he serious there? Moss dropped a TD pass! Gaffney dropped a ball right in his bread basket! These guys will be playing in cold weather the rest of the year (unless in the super bowl) with 5 potential home games and a game in New York vs. the Giants. They need to learn how to CATCH THE BALL! I am sick of these dropped balls. Maybe I should tryout for the Patriots, at least I can catch!
