It would be far more disprespectful for the Pats to feel sorry for your pathetic team that they'd just hand the ball over to you and treat you like a bunch of spoilt soccer mom kids who need Effort Trophies.

There is nothing respectful in trying NOT to score. In fact, there's nothing more insulting.

52-7 is a pretty normal High School scoreline. The difference is in High School they have a mercy rule. They don't have a mercy rule in the NFL because they're professionals. "Oh my God, I can't believe those satanic Patriots are running up they score, they're hurting that millionaire's feelings!"

If I was a Redskins fan, I'd probably be annoyed too. But I'd be much more angry about the fact that their team looked completely unprepared and looked to me like they even stopped trying.

As I said, other teams have gotten rolled by the Pats too, but the Redskins are the only ones that seemed to quit...

If we put in 2nd/3rd stringers and they keep their first team in to try to score some points, then I say screw it, keep playing hard because they're not just laying down and letting the game end.
