After reading many, many posts over the past couple of weeks, I find it necessary to try to get some consensus among our members who are PATRIOTS FANS.

First of all, what is with those who keep B&M'ing about our "Image"? Image....who the hell cares about image? Not me! There are some who feel we should be MORE courteous to opposing fans who join OUR board. Well, I know we give one another a hard time and argue amongst ourselves everyday. I say we at BEST treat opposing guests the same courtesy.

Image is & means nothing. It is not real and it is phony. Haven't you ever met those people in your life or at your job who always seem to worry about their image?....biggest phonies I've ever met!

I visit many, many NFL team fan boards and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM treat opposing fans with skepticism and less tolerance than their fellow members. Why should we be any different?

Having said that, I do like having opposing fan join us as guests here. I like the clash and the turmiol that results. But lets stop this "Oh leave them alone", "don't hurt our image" boohoo crap.

As an after thought, I do believe the behavior and image of our fans who attend Patriots games at Gillette is important because those fans affect the image of the team and the enjoyment of those attending the games.

When we are at Gillette, we are guests of the Patriots and need to act accordingly.
