When I was in college, I knew a guy, he was a friend of a friend... one day he was really giving me sheet for wearing my Patriots hat. I tried to tell him that the Pats were still my "second favorite" team behind the Packers (which they were at the time) and he got all, "You can't like both the Packers AND the Patriots!"

Except that the jack-arse then told me he was a fan of both the Packers and the Bears, which he claimed was justified because he was from a town in Wisconsin near the Illinois border. I asked him, "And you don't see a double standard there?" No, of course not.

Funny part is this guy was also a very "holier-than-thou" Bible-thumping Christian, and a couple years later he and his girlfriend got married very fast... and less than nine months later their baby was born! (Do the math.)
